Chapter 37: Training? Thrashing!

"Thank you so much, Uncle Everett," Ethan said gratefully.
"Hey, don't thank me," the Mayor replied with a warm smile. "You deserve all of it."
Lily nodded at him. "Then we'll be leaving first, Everett. No need to see us out."
"Alright, be careful on the road," he said.
After they left the government building, Lily raised an eyebrow, a slight, dangerous smile on her face. She said in a somewhat challenging tone, "Alright, no more nonsense. Hurry up and call those two little friends of yours. Tell them to meet me at the Sunstone Martial Arts Gym, and to be prepared to get a good thrashing."
Ethan looked helplessly at Lily and said with a bitter smile, "Sis Lily, your words are a bit too direct. This isn't very good, is it?"
Lily crossed her arms, the corners of her mouth slightly raised, and replied with a hint of mockery, "They're not coming? Then there will only be you to take the beating."
Ethan sighed. Since he had already promised Lily, he could only do as she said. Ethan, having finally pulled himself out of the wall, yelled, "Sis Lily, you really don't show any mercy! You nearly killed me with that one punch!"
Lily stood up, smiling sweetly. "Beating is affection, scolding is love. See how nice your dear aunt is to you?" Her mouth said she loved him, but her hand showed no mercy at all. With a flick of her wrist, a huge, swirling tornado of compressed air blew straight towards Ethan.
Ethan looked at the terrifying tornado roaring before him and cursed inwardly. "Tch, this is so annoying!"
