Initially, this intelligence remained classified within military and government circles. However, someone leaked the information, and it spread like wildfire among the civilian population, accompanied by the ominous slogan: "When The Fallen arrives, mankind perishes."
Panic gripped communities worldwide. Some desperate individuals began secretly contacting Decepticons, seeking to negotiate their own survival. These collaborators believed that humanity, despite its technological progress, could never match beings capable of interstellar travel. In their minds, surrender was the only path to avoid extinction.
What began as isolated incidents of fear quickly metastasized into a global pandemic of terror. Governments scrambled to control the narrative and calm public sentiment, but their efforts proved futile. As more Decepticons infiltrated Earth, the destruction they wrought only validated the growing hysteria. Even the advanced biological armor and cutting-edge technology from KSI seemed increasingly inadequate against the escalating threat.
The final straw came when someone released a video that sent shockwaves around the world. It showed a skeletal black robot with a death's-head face, standing before a massive, obsidian-hulled spacecraft. The footage revealed this entity collaborating with human turncoats to hunt down Autobots, igniting primal terror in the hearts of people everywhere.
As humanity's situation grew more desperate, military leaders intensified their pressure on Aidan to accelerate development of his artificial Transformers program.
After dispatching Megatron on his mission, Aidan began outfitting his Wanderer Jaeger with advanced weaponry. His concentration was interrupted by the distinctive ring of a secured line—Joshua Joyce was calling.
"What's the situation?" Aidan asked, accepting the call.
"What's happening with your Transformers project?" Joshua's voice crackled with stress. "Everyone's breathing down my neck, demanding I mass-produce them. They're saying the survival of our entire species depends on us. I'm just a businessman, Aidan—I can't handle this kind of pressure!"
"That's perfectly understandable," Aidan replied with a slight grin. "You know the current climate. Fear is humanity's greatest weakness, and people are easily manipulated by it. The harsh reality is that apart from nuclear weapons, we don't have anything effective against Cybertronians."
The problem was tactical mobility—Transformers could relocate faster than conventional weapons could target them. Nuclear and hydrogen bombs required precise coordinates to be effective, and since the Decepticons remained hidden among civilian populations, deploying such weapons was impossible. Fortunately, recent advances in cybersecurity had developed defenses against electronic intrusion, preventing the Decepticons from compromising critical weapon systems.
"How's your research progressing? If you can't deliver soon, the military is planning to reclaim Megatron!" Joshua's irritation was palpable.
"Give me one month," Aidan replied firmly, standing on an elevated platform overlooking the massive Jaeger before him. "Construction is complete. I just need to install the weapons systems and conduct field tests at the Egyptian pyramids."
"Really? I haven't seen any progress reports—"
"I've been completely focused on the research. There hasn't been time for external communications."
"That's reassuring. Just... don't let anything go wrong."
"Don't worry. I guarantee it will exceed your expectations," Aidan assured him confidently.
"Alright, I'll be waiting for your good news. Contact me in a month." Joshua's resolve seemed strengthened by Aidan's confidence. After ending the call, he immediately began coordinating with military officials.
After repairing Megatron's severed arm, Aidan opened a portal and transported him directly to the Egyptian pyramids. "Remember to gather all the Decepticons, but keep a low profile for now," Aidan instructed through the dimensional gateway.
Megatron nodded acknowledgment, and as the portal closed, he turned to survey the endless desert stretching before him. The moment Megatron materialized, Soundwave—who had been monitoring from his satellite perch—detected his presence and immediately relayed the coordinates to The Fallen.
With operations initiated on the other side, Aidan finally turned his full attention to weaponizing his mecha.
Over the following month, every Decepticon hidden on Earth received the summons and began converging on the Egyptian pyramids. Their migration resembled a great mechanical exodus, sending fresh waves of panic through human society.
Both Autobots and military forces detected this unprecedented movement and dispatched reconnaissance teams to investigate. After analyzing the situation, they too began mobilizing toward Egypt. News of The Fallen's imminent arrival rekindled terror in human hearts worldwide. The atmosphere grew thick with tension, like the oppressive calm before a devastating storm.
At a NEST base where Autobots and humans maintained their uneasy alliance, a sharp-featured woman stood on an observation deck, confronting Optimus Prime. Natava, a Russian politician with keen eyes and sharper instincts, demanded answers.
"Why are they all converging on Egypt?" she asked, her voice cutting through the hangar's ambient noise.
"We don't know," Optimus Prime replied as he approached, his massive frame casting long shadows. "They may have located the AllSpark. We must stop them before they can activate it."
"The AllSpark disappeared five years ago. Why would it still be on Earth?" Natava pressed, her frown deepening.
"Obviously, the mysterious individual from that day was one of your humans," Optimus Prime accused, his voice edged with anger. "He should have entrusted the AllSpark to us, instead of hiding it and drawing more Decepticons to your world."
"I think he made the right choice. That artifact isn't safe in anyone's hands—including yours," she retorted with a cold smile.
"Then your species is committing suicide!" Optimus Prime's tone hardened.
"And you claim to have shared all your knowledge of the universe with us. So what is this?" She gestured toward a piece of twisted metal recovered from a recent mission—a fragment from Sentinel Prime's crashed spacecraft.
"We have no knowledge of this artifact either. The old Sector Seven kept many secrets from us," she admitted, shaking her head. The truth was that even she didn't fully understand the implications.
"We should focus on the immediate threat—the Decepticon gathering in Egypt."
"I've summoned every Autobot on Earth. They're already en route. We'll deploy as soon as we secure the..." Optimus paused, "the AllSpark."
Behind him in the hangar, beyond Bumblebee, stood several other Autobots: Dino, a crimson assassin-class warrior with retractable arm blades; Hound, a grizzled veteran with the appearance of a battle-hardened soldier, complete with a cyber-cigar; and Drift, a samurai-inspired warrior whose honor code was as sharp as his katana.
The combined human-Autobot force prepared to march toward Egypt, unaware that they were walking into a carefully orchestrated trap.
After completing the Wanderer's weapon installation, Aidan consulted the coordinates extracted from the AllSpark and teleported to the hidden location of the Matrix of Leadership. His objectives were twofold: secure the Matrix and draw The Fallen into the open, allowing him to reclaim the fragment of AllSpark energy residing within The Fallen's core. Recovering that crucial one-sixth of the consumed fire source would significantly boost the AllSpark's power reserves.
When Aidan vanished from his laboratory, his figure materialized silently atop one of the great pyramids, the ancient stones warm beneath his feet as he gazed out across the desert where destiny would soon unfold.
