If his calculations were correct, the Star Harvester rested deep beneath the pyramid's foundation. But the device itself wasn't his immediate objective—he needed the Matrix of Leadership, the key that would unlock the Harvester's true potential.
A shimmering portal materialized beside him, and Aidan stepped through, emerging onto the desert floor. He followed a forgotten road that wound through the dunes, searching for the distinctive energy signature that would guide him to his prize. Time and the harsh desert environment had likely weakened the signal, leaving him to rely on more primitive methods of detection.

A heavy silence fell over the ethereal realm as the Primes considered his words. Finally, one of them spoke.

"Understood," Aidan's voice crackled back through the communication link. "Tell him it will be accomplished in three days."
Over the following three days, Decepticons from across the globe converged on Egypt in response to the combined summons of Megatron and The Fallen. They concealed themselves throughout the desert, awaiting final orders with mechanical patience.
The human response was swift and decisive. Bio-Mech Corps units and Autobot forces arrived in waves, beginning systematic sweeps for Decepticon signatures. The past month had seen most of Earth's surface cleared of alien threats, but Egypt was rapidly becoming the most dangerous place on the planet. A traveler could now encounter a Transformer every few kilometers, whether friend or foe.
Hidden among the construction equipment at a nearby building site, the massive Decepticon Devastator waited for the signal to begin excavating the pyramid. His components—six separate construction vehicles—remained perfectly still, their deception so complete that human patrols passed within meters without detection.
High above, KSI's helicopter filming crews took their positions, preparing to document whatever was about to unfold. Joshua Joyce, unable to contain his anxiety any longer, arrived at the Black Cube Prison facility before dawn, determined to witness the fruits of Aidan's work firsthand.
After navigating multiple security checkpoints, he finally gained access to the laboratory. The first thing he saw was the water tank—completely empty.
"Where's Megatron?!" Panic seized him as he rushed to the containment vessel, hoping desperately that his eyes were deceiving him. But the tank held nothing but water, and the giant robot had vanished without a trace.
"You mean Megatron? I released him to carry out a mission," Aidan said casually. He was in the process of interfacing the AllSpark with the Wanderer when he noticed Joshua's frantic inspection of the empty tank.
"Why? Do you have any idea what you've done?" Joshua stared at him in shocked disbelief.
"I know exactly what I'm doing," Aidan replied calmly. "But let's discuss that later. Don't you want to see the mecha? Come with me."
Without waiting for a response, Aidan headed toward the mecha bay, leaving Joshua little choice but to follow. As they walked, Joshua's eyes fixed on the cube-shaped object in Aidan's hand, its blue glow triggering a memory.
"What are you carrying?" he asked, his frown deepening as recognition dawned.
"The AllSpark," Aidan said simply as they reached their destination. "We're here."
Joshua's question died in his throat as he raised his head and gazed upon the massive blue mecha towering before them. His mouth fell open in awe at the sight of the mechanical giant, its imposing form dwarfing everything else in the cavernous chamber. The Wanderer stood like a sleeping titan, its every line and curve speaking of power barely contained, waiting for the moment when it would stride forth to reshape the fate of two worlds.
