But Thor was beyond reasoning. "You want me to put the hammer down?" he snarled at Captain America, hefting Mjolnir with clear intent. Without waiting for an answer, he launched himself into the air with a war cry that echoed off the mountain peaks.

The collision between mystical hammer and vibranium shield created a thunderclap that shook the entire mountainside. Concentric waves of energy rippled outward from the impact point, generating hurricane-force winds that sent leaves spiraling and branches snapping throughout the forest. When the chaos settled, Thor found himself bounced backward several meters, while Captain America stood his ground, shield raised and entirely unharmed.
"Remarkable," Loki breathed from his perch, genuine surprise replacing his usual smirk. "That mortal actually stopped Thor's hammer."
"Vibranium construction," Aidan explained with obvious fascination, studying the legendary shield from afar. "Stronger than even Uru metal forged by the dwarves, though it's not particularly suitable for magical enhancement." With that observation, he leaped down from their vantage point and approached the three combatants.
"Thor, you need to calm down," Aidan said firmly, positioning himself between the feuding parties. The God of Thunder's agitation was clearly stemming from his complicated feelings about Loki's betrayal—the recent combat had probably helped him vent some of that frustration.
Tony, having recovered from his earlier collision with several trees, rejoined the group with his armor's servo motors whirring softly. "Well, I guess we've all been properly introduced now," he said with forced levity. It was becoming obvious that none of them were actually enemies—the fight had been more about testing capabilities and establishing dominance than genuine hostility.
"Who exactly are you?" Captain America asked, studying the teenager in the sophisticated scarlet armor with obvious curiosity.
"I've been here the whole time, actually—watching your impromptu sparring session from that rocky outcrop." Aidan gestured toward their previous position, where Loki remained visible in the moonlight. The trickster god offered a theatrical wave when he noticed their attention.
Suddenly, an enormous shadow blotted out the moon and stars above them. The night sky vanished behind the bulk of something truly massive.
THRUM! WHOOSH!
Countless searchlights blazed to life, transforming the mountain clearing from moonlit wilderness into something resembling a prison yard. The illumination was so intense it seemed like artificial daylight.
"Ugh, I hate these theatrical entrances," Aidan grumbled, quickly activating his helmet to protect his eyes from the glare. "Makes you feel like a fugitive." Thor and Captain America had to squint and shield their faces, struggling to adjust to the sudden brightness.
The source of the shadow revealed itself as a massive flying aircraft carrier, its hull bristling with technology and weapons systems. Searchlights continued to track across the mountainside as a deployment ramp descended.
A figure in a distinctive black leather coat emerged from the aircraft—his bald head reflecting the harsh lights, his eye patch somehow making him look even more intimidating. Nick Fury led a squad of heavily armed S.H.I.E.L.D. agents down to the clearing, while additional personnel moved to secure Loki with specialized restraints.
"Welcome to Earth, Prince of Asgard," Fury said, his gaze shifting between Thor and Aidan. "And you, Mr. Parker. We've been looking for you."
Aidan could feel the weight behind those words. S.H.I.E.L.D. wasn't the only organization that had been searching for him—virtually every intelligence agency in the United States had been trying to locate him for the past two years.
"We don't mean any harm," Fury continued, "but the Tesseract is still missing, and we need answers. Your brother will have to come with us for questioning." He looked directly at Thor as he spoke.
Thor considered this for a long moment, glancing at Aidan before nodding slowly. "Very well."
Soon, the entire group found themselves aboard the S.H.I.E.L.D. Helicarrier. Once they were inside the massive airborne facility, Tony caught Aidan's attention and gestured for him to follow. The others were escorted elsewhere by S.H.I.E.L.D. personnel.
"So where exactly have you been for the past two years?" Tony asked once they were alone, his faceplate retracting to reveal a complex expression.
"Asgard, learning their magical arts," Aidan replied casually. "It's been quite educational. Beautiful women, exotic creatures, and knowledge that would make your head spin." As he spoke, his obsidian armor began shifting and dissolving.
"Magic? You're seriously telling me magic is real?" Tony's engineering mind struggled with the concept—to him, magic was simply technology he didn't understand yet.
"Absolutely real," Aidan confirmed. Under Tony's amazed gaze, his battle suit completely vanished into what appeared to be empty air, as if stored in an invisible closet.
"Well... I can see you've been busy," Tony said, clearly envious of the dimensional storage capability.
"It has its advantages. But why did you want to speak privately?"
Tony's expression grew serious as he moved toward what appeared to be a blank metal wall. He pressed a concealed button, and a section of the wall separated with mechanical precision, revealing an armor storage bay. After securing his own suit inside, he turned back to Aidan with obvious reluctance.
"I know what happened on that island," Tony said finally, his voice carefully controlled. "And I understand why you did it."
"And?" Aidan raised an eyebrow, his tone carefully neutral.
"You're in serious danger right now."
"When am I not in danger?"
"This is different." Tony's voice carried unusual gravity. "Two months ago, I received some disturbing intelligence. A military research division has successfully developed a T-virus antidote. I don't have all the details, but recently they've been making moves against Baymax Corporation. They're planning something big."
"So you're suggesting I surrender my assets voluntarily?" Aidan's eyes narrowed, and his contact lenses flickered with blue light as the White Queen fed him real-time intelligence data.
The information Tony had shared was disturbingly accurate. Not only had the military created an antidote, but they'd also developed an airborne dispersal system capable of covering an entire archipelago. The source of their T-virus samples was clearly S.H.I.E.L.D.—they must have obtained specimens when Aidan had lifted the containment around the island.
I underestimated Marvel's biological research capabilities, Aidan thought grimly. I expected it would take them three to five years to develop an antidote. Two years is... impressive.
After extensive testing and data analysis, the military had confirmed the antidote's effectiveness and begun searching for Aidan worldwide. His absence in Asgard had protected him temporarily, but it had also complicated things for Baymax Corporation. The company's unique structure—no traditional employees, with only Yinsen handling diplomatic relations from his position in the Human Rights Council—made it difficult to target directly. All operations and technology remained under Aidan's exclusive control.
The military's strategy was becoming clear: capture Aidan, expose him as the mastermind behind the Tokyo incident, and transform Baymax Corporation from a symbol of humanitarian progress into a demonic entity in the public consciousness. Once his reputation was destroyed, they could legally seize control of his company and technology.
