Keep in mind it's an adaptation of a VERY VERY popular manga (Japanese comic) The Manga has outsold Batman and spider man and is currently number 2 just a little bit behind Superman who's at number 1 The Anime (Japanese animation or cartoon) is the most watched show of last year beating out stranger things and also the anime show has 1073 episodes and still counting. Last thing while one piece has like a child like wonder at the forefront but it's actually dark when the it's get serious which is why it's so popular because it plays both sides very well. I hope this somehow helps. Enjoy the show.
