I knew that Tim gets really scared, like in his first horror videos. (That 40: 20 was worth it.) A great parable of depression and trauma and how isolation and intrusive thoughts eat us alive, the ending also shows that mental illnesses cannot be cured and often win the battle. Some people hate it for its excess of jumpscares, (it's the era of high horror) and for its resemblance to It Follows and The Ring. In my opinion, the suspense and tension will make the jumpscares more disturbing than other films. If my English doesn't fail me I think they gave the option to disturb or help so here are my suggestions: THE GRUDGE (2004), THE CONJURING (2013), SAW (2004), INSIDIOUS (2011), HOSTEL (2005), CLIMAX (2018), MARTIRES (2008), SALO OR THE 120 DAYS OF SODOME (1975), ANTICHRIST (2009), FUNNY GAMES (1997).
