Phineas Flynn and his stepbrother, Ferb Fletcher, are determined to make every day of their summer vacation fun. They try building a full-scale roller coaster, becoming musicians, building a backyard beach, and traveling back in time to meet dinosaurs. Their family pet, Perry the Platypus, doubles as a secret agent and battles evil. Meanwhile, older sister Candace is tattling on them to Mom and Dad, though she can never seem to catch them in the act.

“it’s about time is my absolute favorite episode” first we have food and Perry “breaking up” and then THE best scene during the credits (of course referring to Lawrence doing “fossils da da da” over and over)

There is a few notable Time Travel films: The Time Machine (1960) which has basically the same design as the one in this episode. The one you are thinking of is Time After Time (1979). The romance time travel one Clariss is thinking of is Somewhere In Time (1980).
