Bonus | Her Males: Chapter 18.5
🕑 Added 2022-03-02 16:59:14 +0000 UTCAziel's POV - after Charlie rejected him
AZIEL
Charlie stares wide-eyed at the hand I've placed on her knee, but unlike last time she doesn't move to push it away. Ignoring the heavy stares from Silas and Gray, I curl my fingers around the muscle and tighten my grip.
I've seen her be comforted this way many times by my males, so I don't understand why she seems so shocked by it. I know damn well she likes my touch.
Charlie's voice is shaky as she shares her idea for me to bond with Greed, and I force myself to breathe slowly through my nose to hold back my anger. Why the fuck would she think I'd ever do that? Did I not just tell her I don't want to touch another woman?
It was only minutes ago I shared I'd never do that to her or Gray between kisses to her skin.
My grip on her tightens as she insists I go to Greed, and I look to Gray and Silas for help. Silas ignores me, unsurprising, but Gray offers me a slight shrug. I'm glad I'm not the only one confused here.
"I don't want her, Charlie." I explain, annoyed I need to keep telling her this. "I-"
Pausing, I take a moment to fix my hair and calm down. Getting frustrated is only going to make her angry. She clearly isn't understanding that I've chosen her, and if I need to tuck my pride away and spell it out for her, then I suppose that's what I'll do.
Not wanting her to feel too pressured, I direct my statement toward Gray and Silas.
"It's come to my attention that you two aren't changing your minds about Charlie, and I, well, I don't want to split up." I start, glancing at my two males. "I've dec-"
Charlie scoffs, the loud noise breaking my train of thought. What the fuck is she upset about now?
"I'm not just some baggage you have to put up with so you can have Gray and Silas." She snaps.
My anger flares, and Silas lets out an audible scoff before reaching forward and shoving my hand off her knee. There's no way they aren't purposely making this more challenging than it needs to be.
"Don't speak about her like that." Gray snaps.
My jaw drops as I glance between all three of them. I never fucking said she was baggage. Shutting my eyes, I rack my brain to try and figure out what I'm doing wrong here.
"Well, you didn't let me fucking finish!" I argue, returning my hand to her knee. I know I'm not exactly the smoothest talker in this house, but Charlie's being more complicated than the other females I've had to engage with before.
It's probably because, unlike them, she isn't desperate to please me. She could care less if I'm happy with her actions or proud of her strength. She has no issues yelling and throwing heavy things at my head when she grows angry, or punching me in the balls when I've pushed her too far.
I like the excitement she brings to the household and wish to surround myself with it. I want her to sneak into my office like she does to the other males and provide input I'm not looking for.
My mind no longer feels dirty when I cum to the thought of her, and I find myself eagerly rushing to bed each night in the hopes I'll get to hear her with the males. I want to partake as well, even if it's to watch from a short distance. I won't bond her until she's ready, but I'd still love to pleasure her. Besides, since I'm already bonded to Gray, I could always fuck her through him. My cock can't touch her, but I can sink it into the Incubus and rock his into her.
My lips purse as I debate telling her this, but Gray always tells me I need to be less intense so I shove those thoughts away for another time.
I wish Gray and Silas weren't here watching my every movement. My fingers twitch against her knee as I search for the dulled-down words to describe how I feel.
"I have come to care for you during your time here, and Gray's made good points in that both he and Silas are strong, fulfilling that need for my people. I've thought a lot about this, and while there may be complications from us having weaker, half-breed children, it's a risk I'm willing to take." I calmly state, side-eyeing the Incubus in the hopes he doesn't say anything about my lust when I mentioned children.
Charlie doesn't immediately react, choosing instead to stare at me with wide eyes before cocking her head to the side and sucking in a shaky breath.
Is she not satisfied?
I open my mouth to elaborate further, but she cuts me off before I can get anything out.
"Thank you for your honesty, but I don't want that." She eventually blurts.
My jaw clenches, and I stare blankly at her as she turns and apologizes to the Incubus. She doesn't want me?
I know I've not always been her favorite person, but I can't be crazy in thinking there's something between us. She's always looking at me when she thinks I'm not paying attention, and I hear her whispering to Gray and Silas about me all the time.
That's not even to mention the arousal that seeped off her when I kissed her earlier.
I even shoved my thumb in her mouth, trusting her to put her teeth on my skin. This is fucking bullshit.
Embarrassment heats my body, and I push off her knee and stand before I start to argue and demand she care for me. I've lived for hundreds of years, and if I need to sit around and wait, then so be it. She'll grow to love me just as Silas and Gray have.
She has no other choice.
Struggling to remain calm, I move to my desk and sit in the chair behind it. I can both feel and hear my heart pounding in my chest, and hate the shake of my hands as I grab the paperwork Silas set here and pull it in front of me.
"I'm done with this conversation." I state, hating the feeling of their pitiful stares on me. "Leave."
I watch Charlie squeeze Gray and Silas's hands out of my peripheral vision. Why's she looking for comfort when she's the one who rejected me?
It's been a long time since I felt stupid, but Charlie somehow always manages to make me feel that pesky emotion. I should trick her into letting me into her head so I always know what's going on up there. Silas and Gray wouldn't speak to me for years if I did it, but it'd be worth it. I'd be able to win her over, and if she's ever in trouble, I'd know where she was. It's not as if I'm inappropriate with it.
I've had access to Silas's brain for hundreds of years now and haven't entered in well over fifty.
It'd simply be a safety precaution. A way to always know how and where our female is.
"What about the females?" Charlie questions, her desire to completely ignore everything I just told her igniting a fire in my soul.
Does she care for me so fucking little that she's just going to toss me aside like I'm some pesky bug? I'm unable to hold back the physical signs of my anger as I drop my paperwork and look up to meet her gaze.
"Get the fuck out of my office, Charlotte." I snap.
She jolts, frowning, before standing and storming out of the room. I watch her leave with a scowl, hating how much I want to jump up and run after her.
She's so fucking confusing.
"Way to go." Silas mutters, following after her.
Gray remains behind, but I avoid meeting his eye. The last thing I need is the lecture he's sure to give.
"You blew that, Aziel." He murmurs, approaching my desk. "I mean, you could've done something great there, and instead word vomited some straight shit."
I drop my head against the desk, not needing to hear what I already know to be true.
"Why doesn't she want me?" I ask, pushing my pride to the side so I can get some advice.
Gray shrugs, plopping on the edge of my desk and throwing his legs over my thighs. I sigh, but don't push him off. I shouldn't be too surprised he's going to milk this for all it's worth.
"She cares for you, but you've been nothing but rude to her and it's going to take more than one nice sentence to make her believe you care. You need to put in some more effort. Try paying her a compliment every once and a while." He chuckles, stating his suggestions like they're the most obvious things in the world.
I frown, crossing my arms over my chest.
"I'm not going to parade around kissing her feet like you and Silas." I point out.
If they want to worship the very air she breathes, that's their problem, but I'm not going to sit around and indulge her all day long. I'm not against paying her compliments when I think she looks nice or does something challenging, but I'm not going to congratulate her for eating her fucking dinner like she's a child.
"If she wants my praise, she needs to earn it." I continue when he doesn't respond. "You let her get away with too much."
Gray shrugs, neither confirming nor denying my statement.
"Well, let me know how that works out for you." He snorts with a roll of his eyes.
I don't like the amount of enjoyment he seems to get from this. All I want is for the Human to like me as much as she does her other males. That doesn't seem like too much to ask for. I'm strong enough to offer her safety, rich enough to give her anything she wants, and I'm loyal.
If anything, she should be begging for me.
"You're going to regret coddling her when she grows to be a brat." I snap.
Gray shrugs, seemingly unconcerned. He probably loves the idea of it, the Incubus desperate to please her in whatever way he can. I can already see a future where the two of them wreak havoc on this household, both scheming and plotting different ways to circumvent the rules I place for them.
Silas won't participate, but I'm sure he'll be no help in keeping them in line.
"I'm not going to regret anything." Gray laughs, slipping off my desk and heading to the door. "I'll get my cock touched while you get to be the bad guy who doles out punishment. It's a win-win for me."
My jaw clenches, annoyance flashing through me at his cocky statements.
"Fuck you."
Gray laughs, spinning on his heel to approach me again. I remain still as he rounds my desk and pushes my chair back. My face warms as he eyes my tented pants, slightly embarrassed by how hard I am at the thought of punishing Charlie.
I want to see her ass redden underneath my hand, and shove my cock down her throat until she's gagging out apologies and promises to be good.
"She's getting aggressive in her desire to fuck us, and I'm not going to wait forever. If you want to be the first cock to sink into her, I'd recommend you figure out your plan of attack sooner rather than later." He warns, trailing his warm finger up my thigh before spinning and leaving.
I clench my hands into fists and suck in a shaky breath, desperate for my arousal to simmer. Stupid fucking Human and stupid fucking Incubus.

I think they need to give him a script to follow. He doesn’t have a clue how to treat a woman even though he is a thousand years old.
I’d be curious what he was thinking when he heard what she was saying to Gray later that night
