I'm currently working on the GBNews video and the Retrospective on the Cultural Marxism video (which should be up on the 1st or 2nd!), but I saw some people asking if they could see the stream I did watching my channel go over 1 million subscribers. It was a fun little thing I got to do, since I happened to be free during the period it seemed like it was gonna happen.
After we went over I turned the stream into a fundraiser for Ukraine, played Chess, and had some other youtubers on as guests. It was a fun time, it was especially cool discovering I'm only bad at Chess when I play Shaun, who is far too good at Chess and I hate him
The original stream archive was privated because the last hour was an interview with an artist who had worked on my videos, who lived in the Donbass/Donetsk area, and was actively in hiding in his basement during the call. Some of the stories of his experiences got pretty dark, and he asked me afterwards to private the original stream archive in case any information could lead to him. He has since managed to flee the country, but I've kept that segment removed just as a precaution.
Thanks to everyone who hung out and donated during the stream, and in general for supporting me over the years. I really hope I can do more stuff for people like this.

I remember hearing your friend's stories and I'm so happy to hear that he made it out. That was bleak but one of the most impactful things I've ever heard.

If against all odds you see this homb, you talk about headphones at 26~ minutes in and I just want to shill for bone conduction headphones. They're super comfortable, durable and with good quality sound (for not being over-ear, or loudspeakers). At least the ones I've used (AfterShokz). I'm not sure if there are models with 3.5mm jacks so if you're against bluetooth headphones it might be a hard no.

So glad that he made it out of there. It was so heartbreaking hearing that story go down and it's great to see he got out safely while he could. I absolutely understand and respect why it had to be deleted for the sake of his privacy, that's a really nice gesture.

That stream helped me at a time I was a bit alone while moving. A nice calming island in the new life. You should play some more chess. Perhaps 5D chess with multiverse time travel.

I didn't realize how much of a relief it would be to hear that he made it out of Ukraine until I read that last paragraph, it's been months since I got to watch this live and I keep thinking about the last hour of the stream and how horrifying some of the moments were to sit and passively listen to without being able to do anything, this is some of the best news I've read all year
