Inside Out / Negative Title [Download]
🕑 Added 2025-10-10 18:54:30 +0000 UTCHello everyone! I hope you are having a fantastic day.
This week on the channel I wanted to combine some cool effects together that aren't normally possible inside of Final Cut Pro by itself.
When you add the "Difference" blend mode to a title, it creates this really cool negative filter wherever your title is. However, when you do this, you essentially remove the ability to add in a drop shadow, outline, or pretty much any other effect you may want on your title.
So in this tutorial, I show how to create a version that has the best of both worlds!
You can catch that tutorial here π https://youtu.be/FxjiljI8fcg
But as always, I wanted to hook you all up with the download from this tutorial as a thank you for supporting the channel. Plus, I threw in a couple extra features that were not covered in the tutorial like the ability to add an outline, blur inside the title and some easy to use on screen controls.
You can grab that download at the bottom of this post just above the comments section!
Thank you so much for continually supporting what I do on YouTube! I absolutely love getting to share the random bits of knowledge I learn along the way.

After installing the title (double click and press install in the lower right corner), you will find it in your Titles under the FCB's Patreon category, labeled as "Inside Out Title".

I love your tutorials, but sometimes it's nice to just be able to learn and then download :). Thank you for offering these perks.
