Douglas Murray is known for being 6'3" lots of hat and not much cattle. Ya mostly don't want that guy on your side. He has some well-made points about the dangerous/radical facets of Islam, but at some point he's a one trick pony, like OK we get it what else ya got. I don't know anyone who openly claims to be for islamic sectarian violence, it's not like he's chosen a particularly morally difficult position to defend. Plus, intellectual curiosity will beat snarky gatekeeping 8 days a week. Duncan's animated podcast show on Netflix "Midnight Gospel" was fascinating, it's too bad it didn't stand a chance of being re-upped. In that vein, I'd watch the bananas out of an animated Scott Sharp show!

Also Murray literally got an award from Israel for being the best spreader of their BS. So yeah his arguments sound good but they're mostly nonsense. I've seen breakdowns from a guy with a degree in Middle East studies

Great ep. Worth mentioning that despite Douglas Murray's smugness he was repeatedly wrong and also lying a ton. The issue is not that complicated and the Palestine side is so clearly right
