Major Codex: “Um… okay? Usually Professor Alpha talks a bit more about their biology and society and that kind of thing?”
Grrrrrakkk: “Pervert Professor in Gulag!”
Major Codex: “Yes… I know…”
Major Hutson: “I think what Major Codex is trying to say is that it might be helpful to know a little bit about how they live, what they eat, how they evolved…”
Grrrrrakkk: “Evilution lies! Great GggobGgggob made all in His image!”
Major Hutson: “Um…”

I didn't notice before, but now that I see it, I notice his glasses look more like science lab goggles. "Supply Teacher Grrrrrakkk head scientist on planet. First to learn Gryff delicious. Won Nobel. Not delicious.

So...I'm conflicted....the inner student in me would go, "awesome" turn to the nearest fellow student and go "how you doin'?" The inner SpaceCorps Expansionist however, says how typical of a dumb xeno, knowing how a creature evolved, lives, eats et cetera et cetera makes them EASIER TARGETS FOR HUMAN DOMINATION FOOL!!! Still do love the continued lore building, hopefully we see these winged beauties on a far flung planet somewhere, yes?
