The only person I knew when I first watched this was Nick, and I really didn't like him at all -- but that was just cause I don't like Mr Swallow, I very quickly changed my mind once I saw him on Taskmaster, and now I love him. But I still don't like Mr Swallow. I have a hard time not hearing Johnny Vegas whenever Sophie talks now -- which seems unfair to her, but I think really just cause Greg pointed it out the first time I ever saw her.

In some previous series we were talking about who the most competitive person on Taskmaster has been and I mentioned you hadn't yet seen the most competitive one (IMO, so far). I don't think it's really a spoiler to tell you, so FYI, it's John.

The prize task reminded me of why I stopped watching this series after a few episodes. I got tired of Steve trying so hard. I don't know why but I just found it annoying.

I respect that. I just watched episode 2 and so far im completely on board lol. People have eluded to "a certain individual" maybe standing out for the wrong reasons (whatever those reasons are) in this series. I can only assume they mean John or Steve, and I kinda love both of them. But I also think Taskmaster the musical with Russell and Alice was a banger lol

Not a bad series. Loved Sophie and Nick. Was already a fan of Steve from his previous work. Joanne was okay. Sadly, couldn't warm to John at all. Looking forward to the reactions!

As a child, Steve Pemberton used to scare me because of his character in League of Gentlemen. But seeing him on this has gotten me over this fear cos he's just a lovely creative weirdo who puts so much effort into his tasks 😊

Excited for your reaction... little bit unenthused by this series, as it's my least favourite, to the point I don't think I actually watched the last three episodes and only watched the others once. But it's totally a personal taste thing - this cast didn't click for me.

I was so hoping for this today! Watch out throughout the series as the editors remove nicks reflection whenever he’s near water or a mirror as he’s Dracula. It’s genius John’s episode of the podcast on this is great if you haven’t listened, he gives loads of extra behind the scenes info. Very different contestant to Jason but they both tried to get onto the roof and hated health and safety lol eek the cocaine comment - he was in recovery for alcohol addiction while filming this series 🤣 Reece shearsmith painted peg Mavis joining John robins, Sam Campbell and Ed gamble in the list of people who featured in a prize task before being on the show! Greg is mainly furious at Alex this series, it’s where he started saying in interviews that Alex was annoying him on purpose
