When Steve said he hoped there "will be a red dot in the bottom corner" he is referring to how galleries use a small, red dot sticker placed by the corner of a piece of art to indicate it has been sold.

Because AU seasons 2 & 3 were broadcast in reverse of airing, it explains why that glove task was in the UK season. This is one of those scenarios where I think Alex overcomplicated the task instructions a small bit
