This is a great show! Glad you are reacting to it! Just a tiny bit of advice, donβt try to guess the twist, because sometimes that can ruin it, just let it come naturally and enjoy it

The girlfriend character is played by Oona Chaplin, Charlie Chaplin's granddaughter - I assume a deliberate choice of casting!

yeah, good choice. You've now got the feel for the show; creepy/tense with a dark twist, or proper comedy with a dark twist (obviously not everything fits that, but most do) Bar the first series, where I think each of Steve and Reese miss one episode, otherwise both of them are in all of them bar one episode in the last series. They said basically that they couldn't bear to write each other out in case the episode was too good. The home owner is Dennis Lawson, probably best known as Wedge Antilles in the first three Star Wars films (he was Luke's buddy). His nephew is Ewan McGregor. Oona Chaplin is Charlie Chaplin's granddaughter, to give the silent movie vibe a bit extra.
