In the UK, on some of the shittier channels, they'll run adverts from mainland Europe that were originally in French, German or whatever, and then dubbed into English. That's the sort of ad Greg was referring to where the sound and mouths don't match up

The monster first appeared I believe in a prize task, the task is the only one suggested by an audience member that's been used, and IIRC it was someone in the production's six year old daughter that came up with it. For the task, the contestants had to draw the monster, and its features were being gradually described by Greg in a sequence that made them contradictory and a lot harder. Such as starting with "The monster has two legs" and then "And another two legs" and then "And another leg"... It has appeared in a handful of tasks since.
