But this match was so cool, and so much fun to watch live.
Basically there was an injury and someone couldnt make the show, and a few days before, the promoters arranged this 10+ year veteran Mick Moretti to fill on on the tour last minute.
Mick hadn't performed in Brisbane for many years, and this crowd barely knew who he was and could not care less (the WORST thing for a wrestler to hear the crowd be is indifferent).
But by the end of this match everyone in the building was going crazy for Mick Moretti and we all believed that he would be able to beat the WSW Champion Nic Nemeth (FKA Dolph Ziggler).
This is a beautiful example of pro wrestling done right.. the crowd wasn't into it, and they turned everyone until it tore the house down.
Also I am in the front row lol

I like Bobby Fish… but he’s got this fish gimmick
Loved that, Moretti made me an instant fan soon as he did the hat thing, amazing crowd work from both these lads through the whole match. Also Moretti’s moves are awesome, that stomp? The fisherman buster? That German suplex deadlift and he switched it into a dragon suplex whilst still holding up Nemeth??! That shit was awesome, cheers for sharing.

Not sure if you’ve seen but last month a bunch of comedians (Ed gamble, Acaster, Maisie Adam and a million more) put on a wrestling show called clash of the comics and it could be fun for a reaction
