So, according to people who were at the record for this, John had a lot of trouble with sticking the tape to his face, and he did actually offer the Furher as his person. There was a lot of banter from amongst the other contestants, understandably, but in the end, it was agreed, in order to save the show, that they should actually go with Chaplin.

hasty rewrite

Weak episode overall. Prize task was amazing and Sam Campbell had some amazing lines, but otherwise this mostly didn't live to expectations. The first two pre-recorded tasks weren't interesting and while the "do something brilliant" task was a fun idea, the execution by the contestants was mostly underwhelming. At least Sam's rap thing was an all-timer though.
