Owen Cooper is such a star and it’s absurd that this is his first role. He was on Jimmy Fallon’s show and was a delight.

From what I’ve understood, there were no cue cards. Owen Cooper was magnificent, especially considering it was his first role. There is an ad lib in this episode where Jamie yawns and Briony asks if she’s boring him. The yawn wasn’t scripted. They rehearsed a lot, and I think filmed four times. It’s not surprising that the actors have won so many awards.
