Yes, I ALWAYS use these (especially in WoD games) and sometimes I never even end up on the battlemap, whereas establishing shots are always used.

I love it! I've been using these more and more, both for establishing the scene (using the foundry module Scene Transition) and for theatre of the mind scenes!

I love establishing shots. I'm a WoD Storyteller, and I like to use shots like this first for immersion and dialogue, then switch to the corresponding battle map if combat starts. If you make more like this with your maps, I'm totally here for it.

Perfect. Only thing that could make it better is if the trees were animated, along the tall grasses swaying with wind. Perhaps a night version as well to go with that specific variation. Keep up the amazing work, and I hope to see these types of establishing shots to accompany the maps in the future!
