We Watched the Eastman Documentary Trump Screened at Mar-a-Lago
🕑 Added 2025-01-13 10:16:31 +0000 UTCOA1111 - The Eastman Dilemma: Lawfare or Justice?
We're giving everyone half of this Law'd Awful Movies! We watched John Eastman's... documentary? Whatever it is, a strange nonprofit called the Madison Media Fund produced it, and held the premiere at Mar-a-Lago ahead of its, you guessed it, January 6th release date. You'll hear straight from Eastman, Alan Dershowitz, Jeff Clark, and...Lawrence Lessig regarding Eastman's election "theory." Special Guest Lydia joins us to tackle the folks behind the making of this film, and you won't believe the stuff she's uncovered.
John Eastman’s first “draft” memo (12/24/20)
John Eastman’s second memo (early 2021)
The 65 Project’s complaint re: John Eastman to the CA bar (7/28/22)
CA Bar Court Judge Yvette Roland’s recommendation in John Eastman’s disbarment proceedings (3/27/24)

It more feels like what people who subscribe to Patreon are getting is the ability to finish episodes, which imo doesn't feel good as a Patreon, and I would assume annoying to the people on the main feed.

Hey, recently you guys normal/patreon split had felt weird. In one of your recent episodes, it was taking longer than expected to go over the document, so only the Patreon people got to hear the full thing. You also mentioned "wanting to give more to the Patreon people. But then when you guys started to actually fullfil the monthly LAM (as promised in the pledge), half of it is public anyways, and in place of the main show

Lydia is 100% right. There are some local angry people who make terrible videos about city politics and I've confirmed with them that they use AI voices in their videos and it sounds just like this voiceover. It is kinda impressive the cadence that you can get these days.

Since people were asking where OA1111 went, I just made this post visible to all patrons. I had kept it to $1 tier patrons so that $2+ wouldn't get redundant posts, but it seems like the stress of folks thinking they missed out on an ep was not worth that haha. Sorry!!! Hopefully this clears confusion!

Great work, Lydia!
