Happy belated Halloween (the best holiday of the year)! And welcome to two weeks of me talking endlessly about the $1,500 Ricoh GR IV, the company's latest high-end compact camera.

On Friday, I put the $35 Godox iM30 Mini Flash on it and headed to a Halloween party.
And I'll have wayyy more to say about its specs and performance next week, but for now, I can't stop thinking about how, because it looks incredibly unassuming, folks on the other side of the lens are far more relaxed.
Not to mention, this camera is so quick, so fun that I found myself snapping away without ever looking at the preview.
Which, every once in a while, leads to something interesting.
But more on all of that next week in the review. Here is everything else I have been thinking about.

The Camera That Changed It All
Incredible photos from a camera that has stood the test of time, from a YouTuber I adore.
The Million Dollar Raffle Drawing
This is an incredibly niche New York thing, but New York State held this special lottery in honor of the Erie Canal's 200th birthday (which I rode along for my bike ride), and for the reading of the numbers, they made the wackiest video. I did not win, but I loved the video.
