Crimson High v0.44 Part 1 Release Schedule

After giving it a few days of thought, I've decided to actually go with the split. My reasons for that being that there are virtually no downsides to this route, since everyone who wants to play the full thing can still do so by just waiting for the Part 2 release (since there'll be virtually no difference aside from maybe improved quality due to my improved mental state), while anyone who'd rather not wait can play Part 1 early.
Additionally, it takes a lot of pressure off me and my conscience, since I've been feeling an increased need to hurry and get this update done in recent weeks. (And on top of that, I think I'm getting a cold (thanks, winter), so taking a couple days off will be much easier once Part 1 is out, knowing that y'all have had your fix for the moment.)
Some of you, both here and on the Discord, have brought up the concern that the update's quality may suffer from splitting it, but I can assure you that that's not the case. There is a perfect spot for a cut pretty much smack-dab in the middle of the update (including a cliffhanger that I didn't change anything about to make the split work; it was just there for the taking) and the various types of scenes (H-scenes, romantic stuff, lore, etc.) are spread nicely across both parts, so that there is no imbalance between them.
And speaking of Part 2:
It shouldn't take too long after Part 1 has been released to get it out, too, though I'm not giving any estimates for a release date yet. I've learned my lesson.
Anyway. The T2 release for Part 1 will be at some point on Saturday.

Aww, thanks, mate! I'll see how I feel next week after Part 1 is out. However, I would like to release Part 2 before the year ends, so that I can start the new year with a schedule similar to what I did in the past. Can't say that lazing around for a month doesn't sound enticing, though. :P

I understand your decision and support it, get some rest if you need it. I was going to wait, but since you are offering it I will be grabbing part one when it comes out. I'm starting to get the shakes like a junkie craving my next Crimson High. 🤣

Honestly, if you could afford it from subscriptions, I'd say release part 1 and then spend next month getting time to recover and generally take it easy while working "as time permits" when you aren't spending time with loved ones and generally recharging. CH is great and you have brought so much wonderful story to all of us. In my opinion, you deserve a month to veg a bit. The most important part is that you take care of you and yours.

Make sure to rest up and take that break, health comes first! And though I'm part of the one big release club, I'm all for the part 1, considering Crimson is for me, my most anticipated VN I follow.
