[Hereafter] Chapter CCVII: Rampaging Hound
🕑 Added 2025-08-16 13:22:16 +0000 UTC"Wow, Cúchulainn is strong!" should be one of the takeaways from this chapter. Seriously. "Irish Heracles," indeed.
Ever since I decided upon having Berserker Cúchulainn here - his normal Berserker version, not Cu Alter - I had it in my head to have a chapter like this with a scene that went essentially the way it did. The particulars evolved, of course, over the course of the story, such as where it happened and who else was involved, but this was a fun bit of his lore that I wanted to exploit fully from the very start.
I also wanted there to be a bit more of a rampage involved here...but all things considered, what he does is still pretty impressive.

Well Coil's side is more or less fucked, all they really have left is Arjuna waiting for the other shoe to drop

It's even more impressive when you realize Cu wasn't handed the cheat sheet like Zeus gave to Heracles.

Wow, that was absolutely terrifying. But wait, given that was normal berserker Cu, does that mean Cu Alter is still coming, if he actually is in this singularity at all? Man I want to see that fight.

Fantastic chapter, I always love it when Cu gets to show how awesome he is! Irish Hercules indeed!
