Here I'm showing off just a few of the many returning Perma-Perks from Black Ops 2. They will all be saved/usable across all of our Bo2 Remasters, no mods required.
While I only showed off 3 of them in this clip, here's a full list of which are returning:
- Quick Revive
- Juggernog
- Headshot Damage Boost

- Red Insta-Kill
- Ray Gun Wall-Buy

- Cash Back from Perks

There's less sketchy ways to save data. Some people save data in the gobble gum and weapon loadout slots, but doing that means you have to share space with anyone else saving data that same way in their custom map. What I did is use Lua to create a .txt file in your player data folder in your Bo3 root folder. So I can save data to my own uniquely made text file, and read/write it as I please. It's just a bunch of stat numbers separated by commas. That does mean that you could literally open it and change your stats by hand lol, so I'll probably change it to binary or something so it's slightly more annoying to edit, but sadly I can never make it impossible to manually change your stats.

How is cross save for these even possible without mods? I know for the Viking Project you had to use a sketchy mod to even save your game or have a level, wondering how you can even get around that
