6 years have passed, the Full Warhammer Fantasy map that was promised is at hand. Big day for all of us, devs, modders and the entire community. And of course, for SFO: Grimhammer mods. Today I would like to talk to you about what is coming, how things may change and more.
Immortal Empires Release
First of all the game’s 2.0 update with IE will be released. I didn’t look at anything besides cinematic trailers and a couple minutes of The Great Book of Grudges and NerdrageFred streams. I wish to go into it blind so expect some reaction videos about the topic. I expect the changes to be very big, so that means tons of work.

Modding
No matter how big the changes are I expect that modding the game will be hard, as always so it's nothing new. But what is very important to note here is that we as the team will be focusing on implementing actual SFO: Grimhammer III changes to all of the factions and Immortals Empires content. So don't expect any SFO 2 mechanics just yet. For us it's most important to make this base we worked on already. We need to face the ugly truth here. This game is massive, giant even. Modding isn’t easy, and isn’t becoming easier every day. We are a small team that will try to do its best to give you that good, not bloated content without the mistakes of the past. That means there is no ETA in any way, shape or form. Old Roadmap will be updated when we will have more info about actual modding at hand.
Patreon and Communication
With this update we are changing our communication methods and some of Patreon's benefits. All daily updates that we previously had on Twitter will now be available only to Patrons. For public communication we will have weekly/monthly updates on our media. That way we want to direct our focus more on strict balancing with our great Patrons that have sustained this community for over 5 years now. For those that don't wish to join our Discord with more benefits we will make a new Patreon tier with access to news only. Last change is that from now on private messages to me can only be sent by Patrons. I receive a lot of messages and with how busier my day is I am not able to tend to many of them.
My Game
Last thing I wanted to share is my own game project. Things that I have been working on for a very long time and recently went back onto since the last SFO update. I can't tell you much besides the fact that the project is going very smoothly and soon SFO Patrons will receive many benefits linked to this new project. On Patreon Discord you can already see some sneak peek graphics and I am very proud of that!
