Acting Up - Female Role - Part - 4
🕑 Added 2024-08-07 14:46:10 +0000 UTCHe wiped the tears from his eyes with the towel Nicki had been wiping her hands on. "Terry," Nikki began before Leigh stopped her.
"Nikki, you might as well start calling me Leigh, it's my legal name now."
"Leigh, then. I know my grandfather is behind this. That BS he gave us about him like you and you being part of the family was just a smoke screen.
He obviously knew exactly what he was doing. He must have made up his mind after I showed him your picture."
"But, I thought you said you had read the documents."
"I did. I read them in his office at the firm. The only thing I can think of is that the old bastard switched papers!"
"Well, he did offer us an opportunity to reread them in his office at the estate.
I wish we had!" Leigh sighed.
"Well, there's nothing we can do tonight. We might as well call it a night and go to bed. Maybe I can disprove the non-performance issue once and for all."
Nikki broke into tears.
"Oh, Ter.. uh, Leigh, remember what the doctor said, no sex two weeks before the due date."
Nikki thought that while she had seen her husband depressed because of a missed part, never had she seen him be so.. beaten!
They spent most of the night cuddled in each other's arms. It was a small consolation.
The following morning both were a little less stressed, but tired due to the lack of sleep.
"Leigh honey, you know, I kind of like that name more than 'Terry'. If you don't see the spelling, it could be spelled 'L.E.E.', a man's name. Anyway, I was thinking of a way to get out of this mess, or at least most of it."
"I don't know how, but I'm willing to entertain anything."
"Hear me out, before you say anything, okay?" Leigh nodded. "This state allows same-sex marriages, right? It's also a community property state. Meaning basically, whatever assets exist before and during the marriage belongs equally to the married couple."
"Yes, I know that. But how does that help us?"
"Dear, think about it. I am biologically a female, correct?"
"That is obvious considering you're nine months pregnant."
"And you, my dear Ms. Leigh Renee Wilson, are a female by direction of the Superior Court of our county, also correct?"
Leigh nodded. "So then," Nikki began as she laboriously got down on one knee.
"Leigh, I have been in love with you since I first saw you in a play in college more than eight years ago. I cannot imagine life without you by my side." Nikki pulled a large costume ring from her pocket.
"Will you do me the honor of being my bride?" Leigh laughed so hard he almost fell out of his chair. He sobered when he saw the look on Nikki's face.
"You're serious, aren't you!"
"I've never been more serious in my life..."
Nikki groaned as a contraction hit her hard. "Oh, crap! Leigh, I think the baby is coming! Quick, will you marry....?" Nikki groaned again, unable to finish due to the pain.
"Of course, I will! Give me the ring. You get your bag and I'll get my car."
"It's my car dear, at least until we get married. Community property, remember?" Leigh ran out of the apartment house to the carport for his... her car now. He smiled, at least she still had her sense of humor. Before he started the car, he slipped the gaudy costume ring over his wedding band. He would switch them later.
The emergency room nurses had thought nothing strange about a tall woman pushing a very pregnant woman in a wheelchair toward them at a dead run. They weren't even surprised when the tall woman exclaimed, "My wife is having a baby!
Please help her!" Women having babies was a major part of the hospital business. Unless there were extenuating circumstances, like bleeding, every step of the way had been horned into a fine science.
A nurse took the wheelchair from Leigh and disappeared onto an elevator. Leigh wanted to follow but was stopped by the admissions nurse.
"Miss,... Miss, you can go up to the maternity ward shortly. But first, we need to have you fill out some paperwork," Leigh flinched when the word paperwork was mentioned.
"Okay," he sighed, "what do you need."
He started pulling out insurance papers.
Concentrating on providing the answers to the admissions nurse, Leigh slowly calmed down. Everything was going routine until the nurse asked.
"Miss, do you know who the father is for the birth certificate?"
"Yes, it's me. I'm the father." The nurse looked up in astonishment. This girl must be really flustered to think she was the father. She tried again.
"No miss, I need the name of the father." Not wanting to drag the conversation any further, Leigh shook his head and said,
"I know with absolute certainty that the father is Terry Allen Wilson, her ex-husband." He then spelled it out for the nurse.
"Okay, thank you. One more thing, what is your relationship with Mrs. Williamson?" Distracted because of worry about Nikki, Leigh started to say, her ex-husband.
Not wanting to go through that merry-go-round again, he said, "I'm a close friend. Can I go upstairs and see her now?''
The nurse didn't even have the decency to look apologetic.
"No. Only close relatives or husbands are allowed in the maternity ward for the first 24 hours after the birth."
Leigh just stood in front of the desk, silently looking up at the ceiling. Inside, however, he was cursing everyone that had made his life so miserable and made him miss the birth of his first child.
After a minute, he forced a smile and said that he would be back later.
"I'm so sorry I wasn't able to be with you during the delivery," Leigh apologized. "She is without question, the most beautiful baby in the world."
"No need to apologize, honey. You just got caught up in some stupid hospital rules, that's all."
Nikki smiled, then glanced down at the infant nursing at her breast. "She is beautiful, isn't she?"
"What do you think we should name her?"
"Well," Nikki began, "I was thinking of naming her 'Terri' with an 'I'."
"No! Anything but that," Leigh protested. "Let's name her after your mother, Patricia Ann. I think she would have liked that." Nikki nodded. "I like it, and I know mom would have been pleased."
"Now, we have more important things to discuss," Nikki said as she switched baby Patricia to her other breast. Leigh looked questioningly at her.
"More important things? What?"
"Whether or not you should wear white, darling."
"Wear white? What are you talking about?"
"At our wedding, dear. Are you going to wear a white gown or not?"
The bride wore white. Nikki had tears of joy in her eyes as Leigh walked slowly up the aisle of the church. In keeping with tradition, Nikki had not been allowed to see the bride in her gown until she walked through the twin doors of the church.
Nikki, who knew exactly who Leigh really was, had been stunned by the beautiful creature that walked slowly in time with the music toward the altar. She was being escorted by a handsome older actor who portrayed Elliana's father in several key scenes.
The Maid of Honor was an actress who, in a bit of irony, played the real ex-wife of Elliana, who had also been the Maid of Honor at her wedding to Bill Whitestone. Nikki, dressed in a man-tailored woman's tuxedo, smiled as she watched Leigh walk down the aisle toward her.
She could feel herself becoming aroused. She almost giggled when she thought how embarrassing it would have been if she were actually the male she was portraying.
As tight as the tuxedo pants were, an erection would stand out like a, well, like an erect penis! The wedding, while real, was also a dress rehearsal for a major scene in the third act of the play. In fact, Leigh's white wedding gown was a costume borrowed from the costume department of the theater.
His wedding band was platinum with three one-carat diamonds and very real. It, as well as his matching engagement ring with five half-caret diamonds, was paid for with a loan from the Corporation's petty cash account.
Nikki and Leigh were operating almost on automatic as the minister performed the ceremony. It wasn't until they were introduced to the wedding party as Ms. & Mrs. Nikki Williamson, that Leigh realized that he was truly the "wife" in the marriage.
Regardless of his "status' in their marriage, they had by the simple act of getting married again, managed to reverse most of the damage her Grandfather had caused. There was some unintended humor in getting married again. The DMV had voided his "Terry Allen Wilson" license because of the gender and name change mandated by court order.
The replacement "Leigh Renee Wilson" license had arrived in the mail two days before the wedding. Getting another new license in his married name, Mrs. Leigh Williamson would be the third license in less than three months.
During the reception after the ceremony, the Maid of Honor sat next to the Bride. About halfway through the meal she leaned over and asked Leigh.
"Do you realize how ironic this all is?".
"How so?" "If it hadn't been for the real Elliana, the person you're playing, the two of you could not have married. Elliana was instrumental in getting the same-sex marriage act passed."
"Really? That is interesting. I'll have to tell that to Nikki later."
"Neither would mine," she continued.
"Your what?'
"My marriage to Cynthia. She's a member of the cast too. She is the cop who arrests Elliana at the end of the marriage ceremony in the third act."
"Oh, she's a beautiful woman, you're very lucky to be married to her. Uh, not that you're not beautiful too," Leigh added quickly to cover his unintended slight. The Maid of Honor just winked and then laughed. "I know."
The play was an astounding success. The play had been pre-sold for the third year and part of the fourth. They had just closed the second season and were looking forward to a three-week break before resuming.
Leigh had just returned home from the end-of-the-season party.
He looked and felt like he'd been drugged through the wringer. He was removing his clothing when Nikki noticed that the skin where his false breasts had been glued to his chest was red and obviously infected.
"How long has your chest been like that?" Nikki asked concerned.
"Couple of weeks," Leigh admitted.
"It'll be better in a week or so. Nothing to worry about." "Leigh, you're acting like a typical male! Now, stop it!" Nikki gently touched the infected area. It was hot to the touch.
"Get your clothes back on, we're going to see Doctor James."
Leigh gave Nikki a pained look, that clearly said he didn't want to see the doctor.
"Get dressed now! Leave your bra and those damned fake boobs here!"
Half an hour later, Nikki and Leigh were sitting in her doctor's office watching the minute hand slowly inch around the clock.
They both looked at each other, shook their heads, and settled in for a long stay.
Neither decided to read any of the five-year-old magazines scattered around the waiting room.
They were mildly surprised when ten minutes later, the office clerk said "Mrs. Williams, you can go in now." Both Nikki and Leigh went inside. Dr. James was the family doctor for both Nikki and Leigh. The doctor performed an examination of the infected area.
"You said you were on hiatus for how long?" the doctor asked. He was one of only a few that knew Leigh was a male. "Three weeks." The doctor looked thoughtful.
"That should be long enough to clear the infection up. I'll prescribe some medication. However," the doctor paused.
"However?"
"To be truthful, I think that unless you do something different, the infection will reoccur and most likely spread.
And if it does, it will get worse, a lot worse."
"You said we should try something different. What would you suggest?" Nikki asked. The doctor glanced first at Leigh and then back to Nikki.
"This is just a suggestion, mind you, but how long does he intend to be a female impersonator?"
"Leigh is an actor, and doctor, not a female impersonator! When the play is over, he'll be back living as a man and wearing men's clothing as before!" Nikki protested.
"Well then, just forget I said anything."
"I would like to hear what you suggest, Doctor. After all, it's my body! To answer your question, the play is sold out for the next 18 months, and there is a good possibility for another six months after that."
"That should be enough time to justify the expense and effort."
"What would?"
"Implants. It's a simple outpatient procedure. You wouldn't have to worry about adverse reactions to adhesive, infections or he laughed."
"Your breasts falling out of your bra at the most awkward moment."
Leigh looked thoughtful while Nikki frowned.
"When you no longer need them, you can always have them removed," the Doctor added casually.
"That too is an outpatient procedure."
"What's the recovery time?"
"Believe it or not, about three days. You'll have to wear a surgical bra for a week after that. But that should be enough for you to heal enough to start wearing regular bras. If you would like to exercise that option, I can ask my associate, Dr. Johnson, to schedule you sometime next week.
That should give you enough time to fully recover. I would also recommend that you go on a daily dose of estrogen and progesterone.
Besides, improving your skin, softening it and you'll have some sensitivity in your breasts."
"Hormones? I don't think so," Nikki said.
"Nikki, I'm not talking 'change your sex' level dosages. Something more on the line of birth control pills.
As long as his testicles are producing testosterone it would be sufficient to counteract any adverse effects of the female hormones.
Even if it wasn't, it would take a long time, years before any significant changes in his body became evident."
"We'll talk it over and get back to you," Nikki said, not pleased with what the doctor had suggested.
"You're not seriously considering that, are you?" Nikki asked.
"I really don't see any other viable option, Nikki. Frankly, the thought of having real breasts scares me to death. I'm already living almost full-time as a woman. If I have breast implants, it will be full-time.
I'm not sure I want to do that." Leigh was quiet for a moment.
"What do you think? If I have it done, what would become of us, of our marriage?"
Nikki was silent, thinking of the consequences of Leigh suddenly having real breasts. He could no longer just take off the hip pads and plop the falsies out when he returned home and revert to some semblance of "maleness".
Like it or not, with breasts, even without the hip and butt padding, he'd have to be a woman 24/7. That would require some significant adjustments, both for Leigh and herself. She didn't know how she would react to that, although, she reasoned, somewhat irrationally, he would look better in his clothing, especially his nightgowns. Nikki almost giggled when that thought crossed her mind.
She weighed the pros and cons for a long time. The argument boiled down to one thing, was her fear that he may have bigger breasts than hers, worth more than Leigh's health? Finally, she made a decision.
"Frankly, I wouldn't be thrilled, especially if your boobs are bigger than mine.
But, as I've said since we started all this, and again when your birth certificate was changed to read female, I'd love you even if you had a sex change for real." "I seem to recall that you also said that my balls belong to you," Leigh joked.
"They do, and don't you forget it!" Nikki snapped.
"You won't have them cut off unless I personally do it! And believe me, the knife will be very dull."
Nikki smiled her sweet smile that clearly said she wasn't kidding. "In fact, before we see the doctor again, I want to have a signed power of attorney for your health care."
"Okay. But why do you want that?"
"Because, I want control over your balls for real!" Nikki said sharply. She paused and continued in a softer tone of voice,
"Don't worry, I will never approve their removal... unless you really piss me off!"
"Yes, dear, anything you say, dear,... Other than your Grandfather, know any good attorneys?"
Leigh laughed.
"Okay, much against my better judgment, let's call the doctor back and schedule the procedure. My only concern is how will we pay for it.
Ten thousand is a big chunk of money. All of the corporation's assets are committed in investments and we don't have that much in savings."
"Nikki, money won't be a problem. My contract has a medical clause, remember? They will pay for the whole thing, just like they did for Patricia's delivery."
They made an appointment with Doctor Johnson to discuss the procedure. The doctor was very thorough, taking measurements of Leigh's chest, height, and weight.
The final step was to take pictures of Leigh's torso, frontal and in profile. Once they were loaded into the doctor's computer, he photo-shopped images of several different breast shapes and sizes.
Even to Nikki, it was obvious that a "C" cup would look the most realistic. Although Leigh's breasts would be larger than her "B" cup breasts, she agreed to the size.
"How do you feel, honey?" Nikki asked as Leigh slowly came out of the anesthesia. Leigh mumbled incoherently, obviously still under the influence of the anesthesia.
She decided that she would have to wait a while longer before she could ask how he was feeling. Nikki looked at the bandages around Leigh's chest. Although they looked like he had "D" sized breasts, she knew that they were only a "C", slightly larger than her own, but well-proportioned to his slightly larger and taller body. What she didn't understand was why there was another bandage just under his chin.
She asked the nurse who was attending Leigh as he recovered from the surgery, "What is the bandage under his chin for?"
The nurse glanced at Leigh's chart. "Hum, in addition to the implants, she had a chondrolaryngoplasty procedure done."
Alarmed, Nikki asked, "What in hell is a chondrolaryngoplasty?" The nurse smiled at Nikki's lack of medical knowledge.
"It's commonly called tracheal shave. Uh, she had her Adam's Apple reduced to a more feminine size."
"Did Leigh authorize that?" Nikki asked, wondering why he would even consider the surgery. The nurse smiled.
"No, the Doctor sometimes throws that in when he feels the patient will benefit from having it done. Usually, at no extra charge when he does implants in transgendered patients. It's a very quick and easy procedure."
Nikki could only shake her head in wonder. She couldn't even correct the nurse about Leigh not being transgender. She was getting a little worried that he might, in fact, be one.
Nikki watched her "wife" as he cupped his "C" sized breasts. She was impressed with the doctor's work, while larger than hers, they were well shaped with a slight "pear" contour and a small amount of sag.
The incisions located in Leigh's armpits had been closed with medical adhesive instead of stitches and were nearly invisible. Overall, other than some bruising, they looked entirely normal for a woman of Leigh's age of thirty. "Wow, I never imagined that they were this heavy!" Leigh said.
"Complaining already dear?" Nikki smirked.
"That's why women, real women wear bras. Of course, we have the advantage of growing into them so it's not a shock when they mature.
Don't worry, in a few years, you'll almost forget you have them.
Well, except every morning when you put on your bra or bang something against them.
Or when some jerk talks to them instead of to your face. Then, there's the question of what bra to wear and what occasion.
Don't forget, from now on, you'll have to wear a top when you go swimming or just work in the yard."
"What bra do you think I should wear now?"
Leigh asked, slightly overwhelmed. "Since we don't plan on going anywhere, why not just plain tee shirt bra.
Or if you really don't want to go out, and since Patricia Ann is at her sleepover, you could forget the bra and we could slip into our nighties.
And," she batted her eyes hungrily, "pop some popcorn, and watch a movie." Leigh laughed and grabbed Nikki's hand as they went to the bedroom to change. Nikki's earlier speculation that with real breasts he would look spectacular in his nightgown had proven to be true.
He looked hot! It was in the middle of the movie when Leigh turned to Nikki. "Did you know the doctor removed my Adam's Apple?"
"Yes, I did." Nikki reached over and gently stroked his smooth neck. "I think it looks nice, very fem..."
Nikki suddenly worried that Leigh was upset about the unauthorized surgery.
"It looks natural," she concluded. Leigh's look turned serious.
"Did you approve the surgery to have it done?"
"Are you seriously asking me that? The answer is no, of course not!"
"Then how did it happen?"
"While you were recovering, I noticed the bandage and asked the nurse about it. She told me the surgeon often performs a tracheal shave as a courtesy when he does breast augmentation on transgendered women,
He didn't charge for the procedure." Leigh sighed,
"The damage's been done.
Nothing we can do about it now. Just promise me one thing. If I have any more surgeries, you'll stop them before they remove anything really important.
After all, they're your balls, and you should protect them at all costs!" Nikki giggled and gently rubbed Leigh's groin.
"Since these are mine, I want to make sure they're still functional. Let's turn off the TV retire to the bedroom and check them out. Tomorrow, we'll start you on your birth control pills." Leigh laughed.
"I really don't think that I'll get pregnant if I don't take them."
"Doctor's orders, dear." Nikki sighed, then laughed.
"What's so funny?"
"Just thinking how bizarre all this is. My husband has bigger boobs than mine, he will be taking birth control pills, while I stopped taking mine a month ago."
"You did?" Nikki just smiled.

Great story so far. Not dragging on and moving along quickly, yet somehow not too quick as it keeps you wanting more. Overall perfect pace!

Nikki seams to be a good wife as Leigh falls further down the rabbit hole!
