On the Horizon...

I've got some bad news, and I've got some good news. The bad news is that there may not be a content update for Sanctuary in Time in December. The good news is that it's because I'm so darn busy prepping for an upcoming Steam release of the game! (Fingers crossed. Hopefully they don't reject it.)
I've never released a game on Steam before and I'm finding it's significantly more involved & challenging than releasing on Itch. Plus, I'm trying to take advantage of some of the exclusive features that Steam offers (like cloud backups for saves, etc.), and those are taking quite a bit of time and effort to research and implement as well.
So, long story short, I've got my hands very, very full right now. And I think if I tried to create a content update for the game at the same time, I just might blow a fuse. So, instead, I've decided to give my full focus to the upcoming Steam release and make it the best I possibly can.
But, if all goes well, the Steam release could be launching in early December. So, if you guys are interested in checking out the game on that platform + the new functionality it affords, you'll definitely have that to look forward to.
However, I understand that some of you may still be disappointed that a new content update isn't coming for December so, to each and every one of you, I humbly apologize. I hope you'll bear with me as I try to take this important step which I hope can help grow the audience for the game.
Above all else, have fun,

Personally, I'm totally okay with this. I like what you do so I'm happy for you, but for me it's also a potential for long term gains in trade for short term pain, which seems worth it to me. If you get Steam sales that may help you stick with the project longer and keep up the passion for it, which means better content for longer. Missing 1 month of updates is an easy sacrifice to make for that.
