Hmmm, Okay. I'll just get one made then. I bought a .610 RB mold for my 20 and they shoot way better than .600 , so I figured the same relative difference would work for the 12. I'm glad he sent them to ya ! Thanks for the confirmation.

I'm sure the round balls are deforming quite a bit so the rifling may actually be helping to stabilize the bon-bon shaped round ball a lot better. (in retrospect)

Don't kick yourself, Danny, that was some good shooting buds. I have a feeling that the rifled barrel also grabs the round ball and causes it to go straight down the barrel without shifting around, Jeff, I feel that without your photography so much more would be left up to conjecture. It reminds me of the Trinity Project and the development of the first Adam bomb, they had to film it in slow motion to study it and see what it was doing when detonated because it would all be over in a flash. You give us that same look into that brief split second. Keep up the good work. Dave.

I think a guy in England made the mold for him. Denver expected the balls to be exactly .730" but the mold wasn't over-sized enough to account for the shrinkage of the lead. It seems to work fine IMHO though.

Thunder Balls! Perfect.

Haha! Danny finally caught that spent shell! Congrats!

Crikey!

Good shooting, Danny. Looked like that bionic shoulder took a beating, though. Jeff, I think the guy from Mystery History II was right when he said that Youtube is at war with free speech.

Thanks Danny, I was wondering about that, also.
That hole was there already. Jeff covered it with the sticker for the first three shots 👍🏻😁. 🇺🇸😎

I was thinking of an ac/dc song. It wasn't thunder struck.
The 3rd hit is in the grouping from the rifled shots I think

Loved it ! Where can I obtain a mold for these?
