Well, that was quite an impressive demo, Jeff. Recommend you take those 2 or 3 recovered slugs and do the ballistic gel tests in the Alexey 3 Flute Sequel, and use AT LEAST 3 long blocks of BG, as I'm confident it will go thru 2 blocks real easy. The cavitation shot fro the side should be extremely impressive.... as it is an "Extreme Penetrator".... (or was that OG's nickname?) :-)

I don't think he has the capacity to manufacture these. They probably take 20 minutes to machine each one.

We wanted to do a second shot but needed to reserve the last round for the meat.

It would be interesting to know if these are purely experimental, or if they are available for purchase - and if so, at what price and from whom. It seems to me that they offer a viable alternative to a lead slug for larger or tougher game, owing to their ability to penetrate - most likely through both sides of an animal, which leaves, for a hunter, a more readily followed blood trail (assuming that the animal doesn't drop in its tracks). With .458 Magnum (similar weight - 500 vs. 544 grain) cartridges astronomically expensive these days, and smaller (~2/3) diameter (albeit ~33% higher velocity), these slugs probably extend a shotgun's versatility into a credible hunting weapon for anything in North America, all the way to the pole.

This video made me proud to be a supporter! Well done gentlemen.

I think I had almost as much fun watching this as you guys had filming it. The best videos are when we can tell you guys are having a good time. Entertaining as always. Keep up the good work.
