Almost any round can come back at us. We have to look at all possibilities that might happen.

Dr. Strangelove

My point was that if they did rupture, they could come back at you like a rocket.

TAOFLEDERMAUS

They are still charged. I am hoping with the big support wad they will not prematurely rupture or leak. They're loaded to achieve around 1400 to 1500 feet/sec. so I doubt even if they leaked it would add much or any speed.

You need to shoot tannerite at least 50 yards away to be safe - I doubt these will be accurate enough to hit a container.

Dr. Strangelove

I presume that these are still gas-filled? Releasing the pressure at the nozzle would turn them into mini rockets, and could be dangerous. I knew someone (ahem) who took empty cartridges when he was a kid and made fireworks out of them. Makes me wonder if a primer could be mounted on the end, and... never mind, bad idea.

George Steele

I wonder if the additional oxygen supplied by the NO2 would make a detonation - like a Tannerite explosion - more violent. You might have to put the Tannerite in a container strong enough to reliably rupture the capsule on impact, to cause the instantaneous intermixing. It's possible that the Tannerite explosion would do it, but a tad delayed - maybe even too late to affect the explosion. NO2 needs a combustible admixed to work; it's an oxidant, not a fuel. Well, a high-speed camera is just what is needed to resolve those issues . . .

Lord Chaos

A steel plate. Should help to rupture the cylinder and with luck to create enough sparks to ignite the Nitrous inside.

David Grunt

Gotta shoot at least one in to heavy whipping cream
