Johnny vs. Devil May Cry 2 (AD-FREE)
🕑 Added 2023-05-26 22:26:25 +0000 UTCThis one certainly took its time to process! My next video in the Devil May Cry series is here, and it's one of the more infamous entries in the line-up. Time to find out why for myself.

Agreed. For all DmC's problems, it still has some inherent fun to the base combat system. It's a watered down DMC4 Nero, but even a watered down DMC4 Nero is still fun. DMC2 is just a void where entertainment goes to die.

From what I've seen thought the years on the net about this game, I felt like Lucia got a lot of unnecessary hate or was the scapegoat for the game's problems.

Ah yes, the one game I didn't play when I marathoned the series last year. Honestly glad I did, because even though the DmC reboot has MANY flaws, at least it didn't put me to sleep while playing it... There is no greater sin for a piece of entertainment media than being boring.
