Hey johnny, not sure if anyone has told you yet but if you're looking for lore in the Devil May Cry Universe there are several sources. The first game and the third game each have a novel and a manga that helps fill in the gaps while adding character depth. They're even referenced in later games along with the 13 episode anime that takes place before Devil May Cry 4. Anyway I just thought I would bring that to your attention if no one else has, huge Devil May Cry fan. Thank you for yet another fantastic review. I can't wait to see what your thoughts on Devil May Cry 4 are as that's my favorite game in the series.

I wish I could go to Too Many Games but I gotta keep supporting my mom. At least we got DMC 3 review.

When I saw that you were streaming this game I was so sad I couldn't join cause I was working T_T Hope I get to join the next one, loved this review!

Dante and Virgil always gave me the same vibes as Vash and Knives from Trigun. Good show, great reboot, amazing manga btw.

Johnny if you want to know the full dmc timeline search for eruptionfang video on it after you play all the games, if you want too.

Great review John!

DMC 4 is a good game. However it is still kind of a mix bag.

"Except Beowulf. No-one likes Beowulf." Damn, alright. Guess I'll take my business elsewhere. ;-:

Didn't even need to see the credits after watching the opening to tell that Lewis edited this (mean that as a compliment, ftr)

When I heard Johnny talking about how he wished he could keep playing, I knew “We got him, boys”

I don't really remember which DMC 3 my brother and I checked out in the mid 2000's but I do know the intro was memorable and we didn't get far into the game. The Switch version is on sale for $10, so I may check that version out as this looks like a good time.
