DOOM is probably more influential overall but I have to admit I'd love to see Johnny look at the OG xbox

Lone Otaku

Proud to be the 420th vote. Let’s go, DOOM nation.

Jonn Alfaro

I was gonna say get mark together and review call of duty

Johnny Aury Craig

10 days late I know, but Doom I think is not only more significant historically to tackle first, but also it's perhaps a bit simpler to explain and get through.

iamthepkmmaster

Doom, more so for its historical factor to the genre. Halo also has some, but Doom even more so.

Mocha

Damn, didn't think DOOM would be so unanimous. Guess I'll have to wait till next year

CarrotPop

MAAN I can't wait for the content this year!

EMCMend

call me odd but I think Doom might ""might"" be a tad easier to tackle and I say that as a Civvie 11 enjoyer. ID soft has some crazy lore as a development company

TK.the1nkboi

Excited as hell for a doom marathon(hehe) if it happens. but if a halo marathon is also in the near future that will be really dope.

SeamusMcAran

Doom! Send those demon spawn back to the hell from whence they came!

TheKenyonSquad

check johnny's page on patreon. It should be there

Speeginator

Uh unrelated question but could anyone point me in the right way to find the discord link? I'd love to join the server, but I'm not really seeing it anywhere.

GumshoeGamer

Oh Doom, 100%. You can’t NOT do that one first. Plus gives you an excuse to have Trav on, that guy does make a great guest start lol

Nerdzilla

Halo’s great and all, and deserving of a Marathon. But Doom I feel is the one that truly deserves to be covered first.

Sami Scott

Wouldnyou consider on seeing if someone like civvie 11 could join for a cameo?

AFrozenTraveler

*deep breath* DOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOM!!!!! (I would have made it longer but there seems to be no cap to what I can put in.)

Alan501

If you ever do Halo you should start with the Marathon Trilogy. It's the precursor to halo and a contemporary to the Original Doom Trilogy. If you want to get a "playing MSX Metal Gear 2 to Metal Gear Soild" wow this was where that was from kinda of feel.

Francis_of_the_Filth

Watching Johnny play Doom Eternal is what I need

Colynato

Finally my favorite title starring Isabelle from Animal Crossing New Leaf

Napod91

Avenge Daisy

SJthehero

Oh damn! Looks like Doom is gonna win this one. I would have loved to see your thoughts on the Halo series, especially on 2, it's one of my favorites growing up and still is my favorite in the series.

El Tecnopata

FUCK YEAAAH DOOM MARATHON LET'S GOOO

Mevans2001

I’m voting for DOOM.

XenoJace

My vote is for Doom, but I'll look forward to any one of them. I'd say to act soon, because both franchises are still on that Christmas sale. You can get the whole Doom Franchise for about $30 on Steam! (That's 6 Games in total, including any expansions and DLC. PC is the best way to play them all)

CarrotPop

Would love to see DOOM, since I feel it'll be cool seeing that since it's going over a longer period of time, and with the new game too

Mike Weissman

That’s fair! Can’t wait to hear your thoughts on VIII and IX.

Zach Boecker

I'm really excited to hear what your thoughts on Doom 3 are. That is such a fun game to discuss because of how polarizing it is, especially now. I've always loved it but so many people hate it and the discussion and hearing what different people have to say about it is great.

ConeLordDaytona

I'm definitely a bigger Halo fan, but I won't deny the fact that I love DOOM too. Regardless, I think it'd be fitting if the former is covered first, given how it preceded the Halo series and did a lot of good things for the FPS genre.

Barry Aldridge

Doom for me as I grew up on those games and to me have more heart.

OwensShadow76

DOOOOM!!!! 😁😁😁

Si1ence32

I feel like Halo is too easily dismissed as a 'bro game.' Would love to see some attention given to it.

JDude93

DOOM since this year is the series’ 30th anniversary.

Alex Denty

Hey Johny do you think you'll ever review the Spark the Electric Jester games?

Jake

Doom feels more appropriate to do first before Halo

Infielder Seth

Do we finally get a Trav Guy collaboration if we vote Doom? He can escape the sticker dimension

SomecallmeTim

Rip and tear Johnny

Fraser Brandon

Having only ever played Halo I of course chose it and I'm sad it's not winning aha but to be fair, DOOM is THE legacy shooter. DOOM walked so Halo could run.

Jamie Dosdale

I believe halo. As we have done the Beginnings of Nintendo and Sony. But Microsoft hasn't.

JCPrime404

I love Doom but I'd love to see you make your way through Halo. I've always been mildly interested in the series so seeing you run through it might be the catalyst I need to finally give it a shot

Juan Ortiz

My return to Soulsborne is something I want to consider for 2024. Final Fantasy has my priority for longer games, for the moment.

Kayn

I'm playing through doom rn

Mike Weissman

Not a poll option, I know, but out of curiosity, have you considered doing a Soulsborne marathon yet given Elden Ring’s release and popularity?

JoJo Harder

Halo is my favorite FPS Series by FAR, the gameplay is so addicting and fun, even in the mediocre entries (Basically every game after Halo Reach)

ManWithAPlan

I recently played the Bioshock games and god those would be so fun to see as a marathon one day in the future.

Joe Abbazia

Hope I can finally make it to too many games this year ! I honestly just want to go for your panel

BrachyZac

Doom bb it's too fun

hyperhunt621

It's funny how this popped up right after I checked to see if you had posted the poll yet. I'm trying to get into Halo myself, since my bud gifted me the MCC on Steam, so I'd love to see what a fellow newbie (or something of the sort) thinks of the series, too!
