Hi Fran! Thank you for becoming a patron. I'm glad you enjoyed the video :) There are a lot of cool video ideas around flow and economics and people. My favourite kind of videos are the ones that link a bunch of seemingly unrelated phenomena and show that they all abide by the same laws.

I became a patreon for this clever post. I had to rewatch the description of the strings and springs to believe it, as you said it is complicated but very relevant. Well done. As a computer science, math, and philosophy graduate I enjoy most of your references, particularly the Nash equilibrium. I am also a fan of urban planning and clever animations, so this hit the spot for me. You could do a whole series of videos on local networks of cars and businesses and people, that flow well for a given volume, but when connected in new ways, don't flow as well anymore. Also gotta thank youtube for recommending relevant videos and channels.
