One idea is to use a number base that most suits your system, e.g., if you are a baker who is used to working in groups of a dozen, use number base 12. with computers, you can input your parameters in whatever number base you want, then process in whatever number base you want then output your results in whatever number base is needed. The Computer language forth allows you to specify any number base that you want at any time in your program. I have wondered if Transidental numbers are the result of the number base being used.
