Alpha Update : Ver. 0.24f (Free Time Hub - Stress Relief + Internet Research)
🕑 Added 2025-04-12 15:00:42 +0000 UTCRemember to check that the starting page of the game says Version 0.24, to clear your browser's cache & reload the page for the Oneknightstand.co website (making certain your browser is using the newest version of the files), and to check your Status page before proceeding.
If your Status Page has reverted to default ?¿?¿?¿ values, then your current save slot is corrupted, and you'll have to load a different one (as proceeding with a corrupted save will give a bunch of nonexistent errors).
As this is a hub that will become available once every chapter from this point onwards, you'll be able to run through it around 2 - 4 times (depending if you're slothful or if one of the ROs triggers an additional scene with you) before the game moves on.

Indulge in some completely normal stress relief that will definitely only lower your fear level with no other consequences!
Research a whole buttload of stuff on the internet (particularly if you've already triggered some previous variables). Internet addicts, enjoy one of the times that a normal negative becomes a positive
Now that the Internet hub is available, Merlin's hidden conversations about the First & Second Circles can now be triggered. (Adrian's hidden conversations triggered by the Internet Hub will become available with the next update)
Bug fixes & additions to chapter1, chapter1-6, chapter1-7, chapter2-2, chapter2-3, phone_merlin, and gosub (may break/corrupt saves in those areas)

You'll need to either clear the localStorage (which is separate from the normal cache) or increase the browser's quota limit. Cleaning out the localStorage will erase all the saves however as well as any other info that other websites were storing in there (ie Dashingdon used to store all its saves there & the new CoGdemos might be too) I know Chrome has some extensions for managing its localStorage specifically. Otherwise, unfortunately, there's nothing I can do from my end.

I keep getting "QuotaExceededError" in both Chrome (on PC) and Safari (on iPhone) browsers eventually. Cleaning the chrome cache works for a while but eventually it will start again. On Safari if this happens and I shut down the phone completely it just deletes all saves. The current one on chrome now says: "An embedded page at oneknightstand.co says Uncaught QuotaExceededError: Failed to set a named property 'oneknightstand_alpha_savemod_data_17' on 'Storage': Setting the value of 'oneknightstand_alpha_savemod_data_17' exceeded the quota." (this is when trying to save on save slot 17). Edit: this seems more prevalent after opening the game's text messages or Merlin's Doorstop. Edit2: cleaning Chrome's cache on pc doesn't help anymore this time, it immediately gives me the error when loading a save and then saving it to a different slot. Edit3: the Status page after loading a save gives correct values, despite this I cannot save to another slot.

Whoops, I edited in the link (top of the page). It looks like it didn't carry over when I copied the old post. The link (+ username/password) hasn't changed for the Alpha Build, however, so the old links should also work.

Looks like there’s no link to the alpha version in this post? The one from the earlier post still takes me to ver. 0.24e, I think.
