Computer Woes
🕑 Added 2024-03-18 07:03:11 +0000 UTCWhile I was working on some files for the next drop, my computer crashed. I tried to reboot and it was not looking pretty. My computer went ill, and not in a good way. I lost a ton of last stuff and a good handful of recent stuff I was working on for the next drop. I am back up and running, but it does not appear that I can recover what was lost. I will not let this impact the next drop, BUT…. I am gonna have to spend some time working on what was lost for the next release so I may not be super available. My apologies, but I want to make sure I can still put out what I had planned. I appreciate y’all’s understanding on this. Hope the week is awesome for all of us.

Could also use an old laptop or desktop and get trunas put on it then use external drives which are cheap Nowadays

Time to think about getting a NAS, we’ve got a 4 bay Synology. Might cost you $1,000 or a little more with drives, but use that, plus an external drive for backups, and your cloud solution and you should be pretty much covered for protecting your files.

Don't overwork. If someone gets mad things are not out asap or you are not available that I'd on them.you can't control a computer crash or lost data. Side note maybe look into an external memory for your projects.
