Beta v0.042 is out
🕑 Added 2022-03-22 20:55:15 +0000 UTCAs always, I like to cruise through bug fixes when I release a beta. You can expect 0.043 in a few days.
The following changelog includes 0.041, which was only posted about on the discord.
- Fixed the slew of error codes popping up when passing time from night to morning and simplified some otherwise overly complicated scripts internally
- Implemented Ntarldgecst's wideMode.js script (Big ups!)
- Fixed game-breaking bug causing the UI to not reappear after Anna's backpack escape event
- Fixed some oddness during the pantry raid quest(wrong NPC names, a section of the map appearing when it shouldn't, not actually needing a lever to get into closet, etc)
- Fixed bug causing NPCs to not spawn with intended initial gear (this means Loukei and Fayth are now well-equipped going into the pantry raid)
- Fixed an odd bug causing most bodygear to be counted as leggings. This was only noticeable when trying to equip gear to NPCs. If they had a better piece of bodygear, then they would not equip their leggings
- Improved Allies menu loop
- The pantry raid quest can now only be initiated when you have no other allies in your party
- Fixed bug causing the map of the mouse tunnels behind the bar to overlap with the map of the mouse tunnels to the pantry
- Fixed bug not allowing player to leave back through the gap in the wall used to enter the pantry
- Fixed bug causing weight to not update in certain situations
- Giants' names should not appear on the potential crush list during truth or dare more than once anymore
- Adjusted the amount of time that passes when sleeping to make more sense
- Removed chance of Tina appearing in the red hall during the intro
- Added the game object to the list of objects to save for file transfer
- debug fixTime will now also restore the Quest and Time buttons underneath the command bar if they disappear after file transfer (this is a temporary fix for that bug)
NOTES: Lots of gamebreaking bug fixes. No further advances on Olivia's event or other giant events. I need to really be thankful for Ntarldgecst for his contributions to this version. Man has really pulled through and helped solve problems I've been avoiding while working on other things. When you load up the game you'll notice the bright white sidebars are now replaced with whatever themed color there is for the room or event you're in. If you see Ntarldgects, give him a cookie

- Fixed broken entry scene into pantry
- Fixed bug preventing players from passing time after pantry raid
- Added a debug command for those stuck with the inability to pass time (debug fixTime), use with caution
- Fixed TAKE ALL bug allowing you to pick up things you are not supposed to be able to pick up (not entirely a retroactive fix)
- Aesthetic, syntax, and grammer fixes/adjustments
- You can now find a palm frond by chance in any of the grass areas except the very first grass area. A palm frond is an inferior feather duster
- Adjusted scripts to allow night spawns to actually function as originally intended (night time spawns were not happening, now the grass is more dangerous in the evening and night)
- Fixed Rene's mint task not wrapping up properly
- Added missing gossip lines for Thera - Gregor's task now functions as intended
