I love the subtle difference between what Joey says Amber will say vs. what Amber actually says. Joey predicts that she’ll say, “Why don’t YOU bring me flowers?,” with “you” referring to himself. Amber actually says, “Why don’t you bring ME flowers?” It reflects the fact that most people are usually thinking about themselves most of the time or that these two characters are particularly self-focused. Drew and Andrea are so observant of human behavior to include details like that!
