Watching this again, I feel like Ruby’s shock hit me kind of hard. Like she hasn’t had many people go to bat for her before. We already knew she doesn’t get the recognition she deserves, even as sous chef, and that she’s usually the one throwing her weight in the kitchen to earn respect. It’s nice to see someone stick up for her. (Especially Nicole, but that’s my Rubycole obsession talking.)
