It's Been *A Time*, And Now I Need Reading Glasses

I went for an evening appointment with my doctor, who listened to my symptoms, took my blood pressure, and then told me to go to the hospital. Now, please and thank you.
So I did. I was there for four hours, by which point my blood pressure was pretty much back to normal, and the doctor said: yeah, there's nothing urgently wrong with you, but you probably need an eye test and maybe a better pillow and/or desk chair to help with all those headaches you've been having for the last month.
I was freed from A&E at precisely midnight, (just like Cinderella! Kind of!) but unlike Cinders I got a taxi home and it didn't turn into a pumpkin.One optician's trip later and it turns out I need reading glasses, and since they're not coming till next week, I am having to limit my computer usage because...you know, too much computer = head pain.
If anyone has desk chair recommendations, or work desk setup recommendations in general, do leave them in the comments. For the moment though, I appreciate your patience while I mutate into my final form, Vaguely Librarian-Esque Woman Who Has Two Pairs of Glasses On Chains Round Her Neck And Has To Swap Between Them All The Time.
Bless the NHS, at least it was free.

Much better: once I got my new glasses and had my second osteopath visit I went from daily headaches to no headaches in no time flat!

Two months in, Jill, how are the new glasses, desk arrangements, etc. working for you? Once you mentioned this, I started noticing how much more often I was seeing "squinting eyes" expressions in your vids - the shorts, not the livestreams - and wondered how much this had to do with it.

I hope the glasses help! I've just reached the point where I need both distance and reading glasses and it's pretty crappy.
