Staked Marine

You just need to incapacitate him on the spot so he can't run away, and silence him so he can't alert his other unit members. Sometimes you just need to secure someone long enough for you to continue with the rest of your mission to defeat an entire military unit so that later you can come back and process them.
-------------------------------------------------
Jacob got unceremoniously separated from his squad during a mission and was easily ambushed in a remote forested area. After disarming the Marine, the captors quickly constructed a makeshift contraption to incapacitate him using the available branches in the area. Although primitive the contraption really worked, he was quickly stretched in an unforgiving position with his legs were spread and tied to wooded pegs, and his hands secured to the stick connected to his ankles. The only relief he was able to get was to bring his body closer to the branch holding his hands, until another branch was wedged around the front of his waist and secured backwards to a couple more wooded pegs pounded to the ground.
That made him totally powerless and incapable of freeing himself. No way he could undo any of the ropes securing his limbs or branches. And with the second branch stretching his upper body forward, it's creating pressure on his back that in no way he could remedy. With the heavy wooded pegs pounded to the ground he also unable to move from being secured to the ground.
To add salt to his wound, one of the captors shoved a piece of sod inside his mouth filling his mouth cavity then taped it shut around his head a few times. He tried to complain but the captors had no intention to do anything differently.
After the captors left, Jacob tried his best to get free. But he was so stuck that couldn't even make enough sound by rustling some leaves and sticks to alert his other squad members. The gag really did its job as well, maybe a little too well. The sod tasted horrible and completely muffled his screams.
After struggling, squirming and moaning for a good 10-15 minutes he decided to give up and save his energy just in case he needs it later to fight. He would have to endure his predicament for a little longer until his friends would find him. At least that's what he was thinking until he started hearing pounding noises from a distance the next few hours. The same pounding noises that the captors were making while they're securing the wooded pegs for his primitive prison.
Thoughts - bad thoughts were running through his head, there's no way for his squad members would fall for the same tactics and trap, but yet he counted 7 groups of pounding following a scream, just like what he did when he was ambushed. IF he did his math right, 7+himself that would be 8, and there is 9 members of his squad.
He panicked, and started trying very hard to wiggle out of his bonds, he's twisting and pulling his wrists to try to get his wrists free. He was desperate, maybe if he could get free, he would be able to alert the last member of his squad and fight back. He kept on squirming hard until his skin started to blister. until he started to hear a set footsteps from behind him through some dry leaves, the footsteps were trying to be quiet but impossible to do when the entire floor was covered in dry leaves and sticks. But the captors would not be trying quiet near him. So he thought that the footsteps had to be coming from the last member of his squad. He got excited and got a sliver of hope in his mind. He tried calling out for his friends through his gag, although all that came out was faint muffled moans.
He was waiting in anticipation, while struggling frantically trying to make as much noise as possible. The footsteps grew closer but still like a few hundred yards away. He's trying to turn and look back but having his arms stretch to his front really was limiting his upper body movement, and with this strenuous position, he could only twist his neck so much.
"Jacob??" A whisper from a familiar voice came from behind him. He was so happy he just moaned even louder.
"Is that you, Jacob?" The voice whispered again a little louder, he nodded his head in pure joy. Finally someone is here to rescue him and let him out from his torturous position. And the familiar voice was the voice of Sgt. Rodgers the Squad commander. But the squad called him DOCK no particular reason why.
The footsteps grew louder and faster, until he heard a loud thud followed by a yelp but then then there was a lot of rustling and movement noises that he couldn't process what's actually going on. The yelp turned into a muffled yelp, then he heard a bunch of grunts and body fighting noises. Images going through Jacob's of what's happening to DOCK. A lot more manhandling noises came out then....
"Stop fucking moving, big guy!" A voice said, followed by unbuckling and cloth rustling noises. Jacob unfortunately knew what's happening, the captors were disarming DOCK from all his gear and weapons, just like they did to him a few hours earlier.
"I think he's the last of them, guys!!!" A voice erupted excitedly.
"FUCK yeah!! That's how we fucking do it around here! Another voice joined "Sergeant Rodger here I think he's the leader, strip him! He's gonna be our trophy for being stupid enough to come to this area and letting his whole squad captured"
Cheers erupted followed by lots of rustling noises and grunt.
"Not so fucking tough anymore without your uniform eh?" One voice said mockingly. Wood pounding sounds followed after with intermittent grunts. Sound of tape being ripped from the roll came through and Jacob knew exactly what was about to happen.
"Don't bother... we got the entire squad, he can scream as loud as he fucking want, it won't matter a bit"
"You will pay for this!" DOCK said, to Jacob's relief, knowing that his leader is ok.
"This is a clear violation of Article 18 of the Geneva Convention, you can't......" before another voice cut him off.
"You know what, I change my mind, gimme that" Before some gagging and choking noises came from DOCK followed by the sound of duct tape being wrapped around his head a few times. And by a few times it was A LOT of times!!
"That will keep you fucking quiet!!! AND to speak when you're told to" followed by some giggles.
All of Jacob's hopes for relief and freedom went out the door, he really would have to endure whatever these guys had in store for them. That was going to be the beginning of his captivity.
"Take your loads of guys, lets rest a bit before we round everyone up, let's camp here tonight, transport will come before dawn"

Love the mental "cruelty" of hearing his buddies captured one by one, the hope slowly fading for all of them

Another great post from you. Loved the story for the hot takedown scenes and for how harrowing it must’ve been for Jacob to hear his team get taken down one by one. So many hot gags too!
