Futuristic Ambush - 01
🕑 Added 2024-03-14 01:37:07 +0000 UTCMaster Sergeant Newton has having a bad day. Him and his unit were doing a routine patrol in a desolate area, when all of a sudden, the humvee that he was driving stalled for no reason at all. He had personally inspected everything to make sure the vehicle was in tip top shape. Then he started hearing clanging against the body of the humvee, but it wasn't bullets. He then saw some laser beams against the vehicle.
WE'RE UNDER ATTACK! He thought to himself. He then ordered the member of his unit to react. Whatever was attacking them were not something that they've trained against. He learnt not to panic, and he told everyone to find the source of the laser beams, and to be on the offensive. The source of the laser beams were unclear, but his unit was trying to provide oppressive fire. That only worked for a minute, then the laser beams stopped, but then continued again with higher intensity. And this was all while Newton was trying to relentlessly to start the vehicle.
The laser beams became very intense, that he told his unit to get out from the opposite side and to take cover behind the humvee. Multiple layers of metal is better than one. He decided to stay in the driver seat to still try to start the vehicle, which was at the point was the only way for them to escape. A few second later, a giant beam just directed towards them, made a big wave around the humvee, rocked the humvee violently, and blinded him for a few seconds.
As his vision was slowly returning, he looked to the side, and saw that the members of his units we're knocked back and away from the humvee, sprawling on their backs. They were all screaming at him to get out of the vehicle, because they saw some figures getting closer to the vehicle. He yelled at them to retreat, which they did, to an area a few hundred feet away from the humvee protected by some ruins.
"One more time" he thought as he tried to start the vehicle again, maybe this time it would work after that sonic explosion and they could go and grab his teammates. But NOPE! it didn't do anything.
"Fuck it!" He said, as he tried to exit the vehicle to join his friends. But for some reason, none of the doors seemed to work. Whatever hightech sonic weapon that was, really kept the door locked without any visible damage. Fuck!!! Fuck! he thought, as he climbed into the back seats trying to use the back doors. No luck for him, as he started noticing figures getting closer around him. They moved like humans, and looked humanoid, but they're wearing some type of storm strooper like armor, but a looked a lot more rustic and sturdy. That's all he could describe them when he saw them.
He tried frantically to open the door on the other side with no luck. One of the figures then just open the door with no problem, and yanked Newton out of the humvee. Newtown was pretty strong and muscular, but it was no matched against the figure restraining him. They seemed to have superhuman strength.
"Stop resisting! It won't do you any good" one of the figures said, which sounded like a normal human speech just through some type of microphone. Newton wasn't going to go down that easily.
"We said stop fucking resisting!" The other figure said. He fought them as much as he could, but all of his strength was nothing against the figures, one figure easily held him still like he was a toy, while another one completely disarmed him. It took away all of his gear, weapon, and means of protection. Starting with his helmet, sunglasses, the proceeded with his rifle, handgun, and load bearing vest and armor. This was all done in less than 5 seconds. He was totally disarmed, and defenseless.
Satisfied that Newton posed no threat against them, they slapped a futuristic metal bracelet around each wrist. The "metal" bracelet felt light, but sturdy. Then they easily brought his arms behind him, placing both of his wrists against each other behind his back. Which then he felt some whirring noise and vibration from each of the bracelet. They then connected to each other with not much slack. He tried all his might to break them free, but the bracelets did not budge AT ALL. He's been HANDCUFFED by these futuristic cuffs. The cuffs molded around his wrists leaving no slack around his wrists, making it impossible to even twist his wrists to get a bit more comfortable. The figures then grabbed him from each side and forgmarched him towards where the appeared.
With the superhuman strengths grabbing his arm and almost dragging him away, he really had no choice but to follow along. All of these actions were happening so fast, that he didn't even notice some cover fire that his teammates were doing to distract the figures, and them screaming at him to retreat with them. Of course it didn't work.
"I'm OK, call for extraction!" Newton screamed to his mates, after he noticed that the figures didn't seem to care about his mates, just him!
"You can capture me and take me prisoner, but it will do you no good. I will not reveal anything" Newton said trying to reason for them.
"Shut the fuck up, don't make me shut that mouth of yours" the figure said.
Not knowing what kind of device or contraption they had handy to shut him up after the handcuffs, he decided that it's best for him to comply.........
