Are you playing Honkai Star Rail?

So Honkai Star Rail is out now! A lot of people on AGMG playing it - but what about you guys? Having fun with it?
More importantly, you all interested in mods for it?
My initial impression wasn't great due to the stiffness of the movement and the very boring space station intro. The exposition dump and very rough voice acting from the first 2 characters (Kafka and Silverwolf) also left a bad first impression.
But a couple days in and few hours in, and I'm warming up to it. I'm not sure I'll be committing the time to it like I have with Genshin - I generally heavily prefer Genshin style action gameplay, but HSR gameplay has its charms that Genshin can't replicate (better team combat feeling, more tactical chain management).
Mods aren't ready for Honkai Star Rail yet (3DM needs to be modified to export and import it's data; currently only static objects and textures are working, which just isn't enough to draw me in) - but with community interest on it, our community's primary tool dev (SilentNightSound) will be more likely to take action.
For now, I'll continue playing it while it's fresh and interesting... I'm willing to give it a few weeks to see if I want to commit to it - and if I do, can help me to provide a wider variety of mods to a wider audience!

I see. I played the game with Japanese voice over because I played honkai in the past with Japanese voice over as well so it would sound weird to switch now. I thought the delivery was good but maybe it's just en va diff

I finished the beta and like all the changes they made going into the release. The world is as interesting as Genshins, but you have to actively try to understand it just like Genshin. Most of the waifus/husbandos are S tier. The game is great, but obviously not for everyone. I prefer it to Genshin because of the writing. It's both, more mature and funnier. I think you are the first person i see to call Kafkas EN VA bad xD Most people are very down bad for it.

Honestly, i enjoy it, i do like these kind of strategy type games to begin with so im all down for it. Although I probably wont go ad deep on it as I do for genshin. Not enough minerals.

I'm really enjoying it for now, but I completely understand people who don't like it because of turn-based combat system or limited exploration. Can't comment on the VA stuff since I switched from English the second it was possible lol. I probably will be interested in mods for it, my favorite characters currently available are Pela, Serval, and March 7th but waiting for Fu Xuan to release

well it will be great to see mods for Star Rail already but i know it would take time and also i needs to pick a lot of people interested and also people on the modding community intested so yeah is just a matter of time to see what happens also i would love to play it i love turn based RPG's but well there is 2 problems i don't know if i can spend on 2 hoyo games and also i don't have too many storage space left XD

English. I tend to play my games in english VA because I'm lazy to read (actually because of my 32:9 monitor, reading subtitles are kinda a hassle with Hoyo games - they're stretched across the monitor).
