A lively town

After getting through the general layout of the new area, I want to focus a little bit today on the centerpoint of Brookside Glade : the little town of Ravenbrook.
To be honest, I'm having a lot of fun building this place. It feel far more natural and organic than the city, where everything must be very tiled and structured. Here, I feel like I have the potential to add a lot of little details, fun hidden little things... The place feel also nicer since I can go on a wider range for the colors.
My main goal with this town is to make you feel like you're in a rural, countryside place while still providing a lot of potential for events and interactions. It take a lot of time, but I'm really careful trying to fill the area with a lot of small things. For example, I tried to make a mist effect on the greenhouse so you really feel the natural humidity inside.
I know that for now, we're striding quite far from padded underwears stuff, but bear with me for a little while again. After all, padded stuff need a coherent and cohesive world to live on, right?
All this building stuff is quite time consuming however. I feel like I've been building this forever, but gladly I'm getting there and I'm gonna start building events and gameplay stuff.
For this, I already began populating the town. What's a nice place without peoples?
I kinda like putting all the NPCs together when I'm done creating them. Feel like I'm giving them a motivationnal speech !
Of course, I still have all the dialogs for all of theses peoples to write, so I'm back to work !
