Workers selling labor power sounds more compatible with Capitalism??? I guess I will need to find additional sources for quips and puns. Perhaps John could become Ken’s “Ed McMahon” on Jeopardy and bring his bell?

Happy the Omnibus continues, sad there will be less to listen too, happy the aimless chatter before and after each episode can increase. It's an emotional roller coaster over here!

Excellent news that this great project will continue. I am already on my second relisten through and will be happy to restart again when I catch up, so one a week is fine by me. Wouldn't be sad to get Friendly Fire (or some related/equivalent show back if John is at a loose end once a week though. Big love to both of you from the UK.

Which day if the week will the episode be released, Tuesday or Thursday? Or will you split the difference and plump for Wednesday? Oh oh oh and will you still alternate entries? Whatever the answers are, I'm happy to receive 50% less Omnibus for its 100% continued existence.

*breathes small sigh of relief* I’m so glad Omnibus is continuing — one episode a week sounds great to me. And unplayed back catalogue, I’m finally coming for you.

I've always said my Omnibus Patreon contribution was a bargain at twice the price, so I guess this is a market adjustment? Not a problem. I'll miss that extra episode, and I was elated to hear that Ken and John are committed to the project for many years to come! Side notes: Ken is, as we all knew he would be, the ideal Jeopardy! host, and I am still working my way through hundreds of John's "Roderick on the Line" episodes. These two guys continue to provide the bulk of my media entertainment these days.

I am very happy the podcast will continue but I would be lying if I said I wasn't sad to hear that there will be fewer episodes coming. However, we can all agree on cheese! #SUPERTRAIN

im not interested in debating this. it may be necessary but i am not a liar and therefore will not celebrate this move to signal my virtuosity. being a futureling (sp?) doesnt mean i have to happy about it regardless of whether i approve. good luck to all.

There are two reasons I'm glad you've found a way to continue. The first is obviously that we Futurelings are selfish and want more. The second reason is that you two obviously enjoy it so much. Before Omnibus, it never occurred to me that you guys would even know each other. Now I kind of assume the show's reason d'etre is for you guys to hang out together, and I'm glad that we get to give you a reason to do so.

Brian, welcome! You are not a chump! You are just paying back-dues for content already enjoyed. Fortunately, the project carried on long enough for you to be able to support it sparing you any guilt for not stepping up sooner.

also i got into the podcast bc of jon, but have 100% transitioned into a ken fan in spite of my disdain for dualistic thinking, hence my willingness to accommodate. even if his opinions on camping and indie rock, amongst other things, are irreconcilable.

i decided when i caught up i would join the patreon and catch up on all addendum. pretty disappointing that i paid the full year price and now its value was reduced nearly in half, as ive been caught up for the last couple years and very much love this podcast. hard to say $5/mo is a good value for a weekly episode but im a chump just gonna keep paying.

I have always been astonished that Omnibus managed to release two long, well produced podcasts each week, and I was sure The Project would come to an end soon, so I’m taking this as good news.

Thanks for continuing on in a manner that works best for you and always being open with us! I appreciate you both! Dare I say, “this is the way”?

Ah, what a bummer. But it was probably too good to be true that you guys were doing two shows a week. Thanks for keeping the show going [in a way compatible with Marxism!]. I hope it never ends.

On the one hand, fewer episodes to eventually enjoy. On the other, I might finally catch up! I've only listened to about 400 of the episodes so still got a ways to go. Either way, just excited the podcast will continue for another 44 years.

I've never hated Jeopardy so much as I do right now!
