Lila - Let's Do Our Best! Mini-Set + Extras

The past week or so I've spent most of my free time working on my gals' skin textures. Not that they were bad, but they weren't perfect. Lila was the test subject; her upgrades will be applied to Song, Akame, and other light-skinned characters of mine. It first started with some test renders:
The main goal was to make the muscles look more realistic, as well as brighten and sharpen up the skin without doing it artificially by sharpening textures. I try not to talk "shop" too much because I'm not sure if it's boring, but long story short, I redid the normal maps, bump maps, and changed a bunch of other small settings. Naturally, I couldn't just leave her as-is, and started making renders!
Imagine being alone in the hallway and running into Lila? She's so intimidating despite being adorable. There was a "wish" board of sorts on the wall, saying everyone's wishes for the new year. Being still within my rights to post new years' content (it's still January!), I took the opportunity to LEWD it up!
This one doubles as a 4k wallpaper, so Lila can motivate you year-round!

Thanks Dean! Yeah test rendering in a neutral environment always ends up so clean. I used a different style of lighting for these Lila pictures to emulate sterile school lighting and while I think I accomplished my goal, the pictures are less sexy for it. As for the monster girls...that would be interesting! And definitely a challenge haha

The test renders look really good! I can imagine striking the balance between realism and visual appeal can be a hard one. I'll challenge you for the new year to take a stab at monster girls: multiple muscular arms might be a chance to play with some... non-typical anatomy. 😅
