Pose03 - Back
Hey!
Been working on a new pose for this picture series. The previous poses are unchanged, so I just updated the Imgur album from the previous post. I think I'll do one more pose and maybe one more angle for the pose above and then move on.
Right now I'm transitioning to Maya 2018 (been using 2016), which has some interesting new animation tools.
I'm also taking the opportunity to ditch my old Maya settings and not carry them over. They bloated up to six times the size of the original preferences and might be causing weird stuff here and there.
Anyway, I'm not done sorting this all out, which is why I continued work on the pictures instead of the Widowmaker riding animation. I'll probably continue on it tomorrow.

Completely unexpected. Wow - blown away with this set. Hope the transition goes well!
I carried over my scripts and hotkeys, so it's not that bad. It doesn't really affect existing projects per se. It affects the riding animation, cause I need to lift my animation from the old tools to the new ones. That's proving to be a bit fiddly. In the future, I'll animate with the new tools from the start, so this is just a one off problem.

I hope the transition is going well, getting rid of the settings sounds scary. Does it affect your current projects at all? This pose is wonderful, such an amazing series of pictures ^_^
