Ryzen Part 3 Deep Dive
🕑 Added 2017-04-13 15:34:37 +0000 UTC Let us know what you guys think of this! This was super long and rambly, but we cut it down to about 10 minutes +/- and did two big things:1) deep dive on gta frame times.
Even though GTA V stutters on both systems, it stutters in different ways. On the Ryzen system it occasionally is less than 60fps, but not dramatically less fps than that.
On intel, the graph is actually more consistent, except for about 3 outliers every two minutes.
Sidenote: On the 5960x system there were more outliers at high frame rates.
We aren't sure what to make of this.
Let us know what you guys think. We want to make this live later today, but we want it to stand up to scrutiny as well and have loooaddddsss of stuff we could talk about or add, but this is probably a bit too long as it is.

Great video, guys. I love how thorough you are with your tests. I was wondering if you'd go so far as to do a double blind test with editing/workflow/workstation-related tasks to see which processor feels better to use in that respect? I'd be interested to see if there was a difference when it comes to MPI-related tasks and workflow.

Was the hitching present with the fury card. I assume it was ? That would pretty much nail it to the GTA engine I guess like you say.
